Fleur looks at you sympathetically before whispering into your ear, "Do not worry, 'zere really is nothing wrong about you."

Mordekhai's face changed color with blazing speed, swapping from a pale-greenish to a pink and then red as Fleur whispered in his ear. She really wasn't being helpful in his current situation.

"...Uh, what does that mean?" he asked, staring at Fleur with the corner of his eye...And more importantly, did he really want to know what it meant? He had some serious doubts about it.

Fleur looks curiously at the human, her head tilted, "Somezing tells me your culture is much less straight-forward zan mine.  If I wanted it to mean somezing, I would 'ave said so."  she looks slightly upset.  "Why are you 'umans always searching for some 'idden meaning?"

Mordekhai sighed in relief, his face returning to its normal color. He couldn't say he had understood anything the draconian had said then. In fact, what would be wrong in that case? Her answer in itself only got him more confused. Or maybe his own mind was still in disarray, it was difficult to tell.
"Nah, I was more confused by your question than anything. In fact, I'm confused right now, but relieved at the same time...I think I must have hit my head too hard when we crashed, or I was always that mentally clumsy and never realized."

The crusader then smiled and sat at his bed once again, waiting for the rest of the group to get ready. He noticed Fleur's stare and realized she thought he had probably implied something bad about her recent behavior.
"Nonono, I wasn't trying to imply anything. I think we both misunderstood each other. I'm sorry if I made you upset, please accept my apologies. I think we had a problem during communication."

Aegnor sighed. For a minute, he was actually worried that Mordekhai was suffering from shock somehow, something which would have been pretty damn bad. Glad for the moment that he didn't need to console Mordekhai, he decides to get as much privacy as he could, changing into the best combination of uniform and new clothing.

"Morde, I'm gonna stay here for a bit, help people out. I would like it if I could talk to your friend though, considering that they probably have my old robe. Its got sentimental value, you understand?"

Go and do some Nursing! Afterwards, see what I can do to help fleur.

Zealots and Demons, Turn 53:  Fleur, Assassin and Nurse

Quote from: Tiruin
Fleur!

[See response in earlier post]

Quote from: lawastooshort
Take a look outside, find some hospital gardens to walk in. Try to get my clothes and belongings back before attending the funeral.

[2]  Most of the windows are obscured by various medical equipment and curtains and people.  From what you can tell though, it is snow, cold, and absolutely beautiful.  You catch a hint of the rising sun coming up over the glistening clouds.  You have your belongings brought to you anyhow, but you're far more absorbed in watching the beauty of nature than putting on your clothing.

Quote from: Zako
Figure out why the priests are so busy and take a better look around. Then go out on the town again, looking for the place where the funeral will be held.

[6]  You, for some reason, are a little bit embarrassed to ask the priests what is going on so you just sort of walk around looking at the place, hoping an answer leaps out at you, but it never comes.

[5]  You walk out of the city of Durant and down a short path overlooking a cliff, you see at least fifty pyres being set up by some Draconians.  Everything seems to be in order here so you walk back into Durant.  You find yourself sitting on a bench by the fountain listening to some of the conversations around you.  You eventually tune into a conversation between a shady looking human male and Draconaian male about some strange people being seen coming and going from the sewers, you certainly don't envy whoever has to do that job.

Quote from: Caellath
After new clothing is put on, try one's best to avoid eye contact with anyone.

[2]  You are so embarrassed and upset after your argument with Fleur that you don't even put your clothes on.  After your apology Fleur looks at you, "I am sorry as well, I let my emotions get 'ze better of me.  I zink I might 'ave been unclear as well." she admits sheepishly.

Quote from: Ochita
Go and do some Nursing! Afterwards, see what I can do to help fleur.

[3]  You aren't used to dealing with so many people, or working after a disaster like this not that you think about it, you do alright though.  At least you're working some of the strains out of your muscles.

[5]  After a little bit Fleur pulls you into a private area, it's still open but unoccupied, for the moment.  "I do not know why I am trusting you with zis, but I feel like. . . no, I should not." she says.  You gently encourage her to trust you.  "Well... 'zis is not my only job.  I owe a lifedebt to ze local Assassin's Guild, usually 'zis just means taking care of zeir injured, but 'zey want me to go kill somebody.  It makes me worry... if... if you could help somehow, zat would be most helpful. she says a bit of worry still evident on her face.  At least you know nobody else could overhear your conversation with Fleur

((Ok, I admit, I did not see that one about the nurse coming. She seemed like such a nice lady too...))

Keep listening to this interesting conversation about the sewers. Think about why someone wants to go down there regularly.

((Oh god why ask the healer to help kill someone Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.))

Aegnor had a hard time coping with the sheer number of people that he had to help, while everyone was stable and such, he still had to do a lot of the reapplying of bandages, cleaning out beds, cleaning people.. At the least, he was helping with some of the load.

...

Aegnor expresses some shock on his face. "You have a life debt to them?"
Aegnor shuts his eyes, and after a couple of emotions flying past his face, he nods slightly.
"I really can't believe that I'm doing this, but can you tell me more about who you need to kill?"

Put on my clothes, conceal my knife, and then walk outside for a while in the snow. Afterwards, search for someone who is investigating the airship crash to see if they have any idea who is responsible.

((<3 Fleur.))

"Well, thanks Fleur!" Akari said, happy that they didn't have to pay for themselves, but also sad at the...enormity of the situation. She decided to be happy anyway.

"Do you need help with that?" she continued, looking at Mordekhai in all his glory.

"Oh, and Fleur, could you read to me what is in this book?"

Ask Fleur once more!

Then help Mordekhai with what he is doing, if he accepts.

"I zink you misunderstand ze kind of help I was wanting.  You are an alchemist, are you not?  I seek somezing to give me ze advantage.  I would not ask you to put your life on ze line for my lifedebt." she says her face remaining neutral while you consider helping her.

"If you are curious, zere is some pirate in town, zey want her dead.  Maria, I zink.  Beyond zat, I do not question, it is not my place."

"Do you need help with that?" she continued, looking at Mordekhai in all his glory.

"No, I'm trying to get dressed here." Mordekhai answered through the privacy curtain he had ran around his bed. He had probably did something against a God or the cosmos in general. Things just kept piling up...

Mordekhai just wears his clothing.

((Welp Fleurs gonna die if I don't physically help her. But priest, uh,, aaaaah.))

"Well.. Still. I just want to make sure that you'll be alright. Its not that much of a bother. I guess."

Aegnor scratched the back of his head ildly. A couple of ideas had crossed his mind.
"I've decided that I'll join you, but it will be mostly your fight. I just simply won't let you die. I think I might have a frien.. Nevermind. I'll also make some potions, they should also help."

Make from the following: Sleep potions and a couple of potions of healing.

((One of Maria's lackeys gave away her name before we met her on the bridge, so we do know it. Also, Aegnor should call Mord (and maybe the rest of the team, although two people would be more discreet) for a peaceful walk and then accidentally stumble on Fleur trying to get her job done. If asked about it, they totally weren't stalking Fleur. At all.))
