Zealots and Demons, Turn 53: Fleur, Assassin and NurseFleur!
[See response in earlier post]
Take a look outside, find some hospital gardens to walk in. Try to get my clothes and belongings back before attending the funeral.
[2] Most of the windows are obscured by various medical equipment and curtains and people. From what you can tell though, it is snow, cold, and absolutely beautiful. You catch a hint of the rising sun coming up over the glistening clouds. You have your belongings brought to you anyhow, but you're far more absorbed in watching the beauty of nature than putting on your clothing.
Figure out why the priests are so busy and take a better look around. Then go out on the town again, looking for the place where the funeral will be held.
[6] You, for some reason, are a little bit embarrassed to ask the priests what is going on so you just sort of walk around looking at the place, hoping an answer leaps out at you, but it never comes.
[5] You walk out of the city of Durant and down a short path overlooking a cliff, you see at least fifty pyres being set up by some Draconians. Everything seems to be in order here so you walk back into Durant. You find yourself sitting on a bench by the fountain listening to some of the conversations around you. You eventually tune into a conversation between a shady looking human male and Draconaian male about some strange people being seen coming and going from the sewers, you certainly don't envy whoever has to do that job.
After new clothing is put on, try one's best to avoid eye contact with anyone.
[2] You are so embarrassed and upset after your argument with Fleur that you don't even put your clothes on. After your apology Fleur looks at you,
"I am sorry as well, I let my emotions get 'ze better of me. I zink I might 'ave been unclear as well." she admits sheepishly.
Go and do some Nursing! Afterwards, see what I can do to help fleur.
[3] You aren't used to dealing with so many people, or working after a disaster like this not that you think about it, you do alright though. At least you're working some of the strains out of your muscles.
[5] After a little bit Fleur pulls you into a private area, it's still open but unoccupied, for the moment.
"I do not know why I am trusting you with zis, but I feel like. . . no, I should not." she says. You gently encourage her to trust you.
"Well... 'zis is not my only job. I owe a lifedebt to ze local Assassin's Guild, usually 'zis just means taking care of zeir injured, but 'zey want me to go kill somebody. It makes me worry... if... if you could help somehow, zat would be most helpful. she says a bit of worry still evident on her face. At least you know nobody else could overhear your conversation with Fleur
