((@GM: Why take care of the armor? Technically, Mordekhai takes as much damage naked as wearing armor according to the mechanics. :P))

Mordekhai moved deliberately, his steps firm as he assumed the tip of the line.
"Well, it is not like we can ignore it, trap or not. Even if it is one, that means more enemies we should probably have to deal with sooner or later."

Move ahead of the group towards the source of the sound.

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

((Because you don't want me to get creative with the status effects, like when Ochita was walking around with broken ribs causing +1 damage every time hit, after other modifiers if I remember correctly))

Mysterious sobbing, Tikan thought. She'd used that one herself, once before... She wondered if it was a trap, all the while realising that someone crying on their own on a hijacked skyboat wasn't so unlikely. She stopped her train of thought before it got any further. She didn't want to think about whether her new start was already over or not.

Take rearguard position. Keep listening and keep ready.

Aegnor flinched as the bullet left his body, forced out while the healing magics repaired and regrew the hole in his body. Sighing once it was done, he nodded to the crusader.

"Thanks, you did a pretty good job."

Apon hearing the sobbing later, Aegnor pipes up.

"We really should see whats wrong. I mean if thats the sub-deck, and if somethings gone wrong in there.."

Investigate the sobbing.

"Just in case, I'll just...stay behind you all, y'know, for- safety."

In addition for checking the source of crying, try to Conjure a bunch of flowers? Not a handful of snakes, mind you - flowers.

Zealots and Demons, Turn 43:  Frikkin' Glitter!

Quote from: Tiruin
check the general area for the source of the crying.

In addition for checking the source of crying, try to Conjure a bunch of flowers? Not a handful of snakes, mind you - flowers.

[5]  You find the Captain sobbing leaning up against the wheel of the ship.  He has a bottle of Scotch next to him that is half gone already.  There are a couple of other people who managed to escape as well, some kind of stewardess and one of the pilots who is desperately trying to fly the ship on his own without the Captain's help.

[5]  You conjure up a beautiful bouquet of flowers, mostly dark red roses but there are splashes of white in the bouquet as well... you're not sure how this will help, but everyone loves flowers!

Quote from: Dwarmin
Action: Accompany Akari, but stay stealthy and unseen. Watch out for trouble

[1] You waltz into the room.  "What's up dawgs, why there so much cryin' in here?" you ask.  The Stewardess catches sight of you immediately and throws some kind of powder at you. . . wait, this is glitter, GLITTER!!!  You start to cry, wiping at your eyes trying to get the glitter out of your eyes.  "Pantheon damn it, as soon as I can see you, I'm going to stab you in the eye!" You scream.

Quote from: Caellath
Move ahead of the group towards the source of the sound.

[6]  You walk proudly into the smaller sub-bridge.  You get close to the Captain but the Stewardess in the room quickly hides behind you.  "You're a guard, what are you doing with that pirate lady?"  She asks, seemingly trusting you.

Take rearguard position. Keep listening and keep ready.

[2]  You see 'Jacelyna' get glittered and burst out laughing.  You laugh for a solid five seconds before you manage to say, "Defeated by a handful of glitter, oh this is so rich!  Please tell me somebody has this recorded somehow, I want to watch it again." you say laughing again.  Oh it's just too much!

Quote from: Ochita
Investigate the sobbing.

[1]  You can't get around either the laughing rogue or the glittered former soldier.  To be fair... it was pretty funny to watch her get taken down by a handful of make-up, but there are far more serious things here to concentrate on.  You lean up against the wall and sigh, and think about the past for a bit.

What?

Nepthym fumed, trying to get the spangles out of her watery eyes-they burned! Being laughed at by that skinny wench wasn't helping. Then again, she was the outsider, wasn't she? She would never be one of them. Just a joke.

She reached for her belt and stolen canteen...

Action: Empty my canteen to clear my eyes and remove some of the glitterati and otherwise follow the group

Aegnor sighed, and thought about his past. He wasn't always a travelling healer. Infact, this current situation felt more like when he was actually serving as a medic, during a small scale.. Shaking his head, he pulls his thoughts back to the present.

"So the captain is absolutely smashed. I guess we have to really snap him out of his alcoholism, right?"

(( :P))

Akari glanced at the Captain and his bottle of frothy water, then at her bouquet of flowers, then at Mordekhai.

"Excuse me, miss? We're not pirates but we're here to find a lifeboat out of here. Could you help us with the Captain and his dehydration, and the pilot? The ship's going to crash minutes from now I bet."

She offered the flowers as a gesture of friendship, seemingly ignoring the fact that it also seemed that she was offering Mordekhai the flowers.

Ah well, still good.

The stewardess replies, "Well, even if the ship crashes, we have to do what we can to save as many people as possible.  We're near the Draconian City of Durant, if we crashed into the city it would... strain relations between the Zealots and Durant.  And if we do this right, we might even be able to save the lives of people still on the ship."  She explains, less fearful now that she knows you aren't with the pirates.  She seems a bit bewildered by the offered flowers, but she accepts them anyhow.

The Kitsune smiled as her flowers were accepted before looking back at the Captain.

"Do this right? Erm, ok. I'll head back to the Engine room to see what they've changed. I'm not that good with speaking to people anyway, and I'm sure the Captain wouldn't want to see me again right after...last Monday."

Akari shifted slightly before moving to the side, edging closer to the walkway to the Engines.

"So I'll be going now, don't want to leave this ship crashing."

To the Engine Room!

Mordekhai taps the stewardess' head calmly, briefly stopping to wonder why he does that so much. Maybe he's being paternal, or he has some strange habit that should be rooted out lest he has someone get very angry at him one of these days.

"As Akari already told you, we are not pirates, and this here." he says, nodding towards Nepthym "Is a friend of ours. That is just her way of acting normally, but she is not a bad person." he completes with a smile before noticing Akari leaving.

"We shall do our best to save you." the crusader says before heading to Nep's side, intent on helping her if needed.

Help Nepthym in case her efforts fail, then follow Akari.
