Aegnor sighed, and tapped his staff against the ground.

"That should keep infection at bay, at least until proper treatment is applied. Maybe one day you can use that leg again, if you dont join any bandits again."

Sighing again, he saw Nephyrm and Mordekhai looting the bodies. Shrugging, he turned away, and decided to get down to the task of pulling the bodies out of the way. It wasn't that glorious or even well recognised, but it helps keep the bodies from being disturbed further, and it makes it easier to get people though corridors.. Shaking off an errant memory, Aegnor starts the process of cleaning the corridor, dragging the bodies.

Once he has finished, he decided to set out his alchemy set, and he started to Produce some sleeping potions.

((You know, if it's alright with you, I think I'd rather just have you be able to perform two melee attacks, that'll be the easiest to work with.  For those who weren't aware, I usually allow three actions in combat turns, one movement, one attack (melee or ranged), and one spell for those of you who can cast spells.))

((That sounds good to me.))

Satisfied that he knew nothing more, Tikan turned away from the pirate and towards her companions. Seeing them all busy, she thought she'd try to make herself useful.

Examine the bodies to see if there is an undamaged "pirate uniform" that could possibly fit, and possibly pirate weapon to go with it. Either way, go to listen at the end of the corridor.

"How are you feeling? My bad if I couldn't help you with the backfiring spell problem...I was locked in combat with the buccaneer."
"B-backfiring? I-"

Akari fumbled with her words as she tried to make sense of his words. Perhaps it was feedback from the stress other than a broken attempt to...envision her own reality onto the pirate?

"-ehem, yes. It's alright Mordekhai, you've done well.

"As for him, I'll be the one to take- care of him."

Search for a way out and where the pirates would've come from. Carry Vizharren.

Mordekhai stared at Akari and her small - or at least smaller than his - body.
"There is no need for such, I'll do it. Believe me, assisting people is my duty."

Mordekhai rose his eyebrows behind his fullface helmet before laughing heartily.
"Ahahaahah, I would never hurt him as long as he doesn't want to hurt us anymore."

Nepthym spoke up at that.

"There is no way out. If worse comes to worse, we'll have to crash land the ship."

In truth, the young celestial was now convinced this was her best way to stay free-if they docked, she would be under scrutiny along with the rest of everyone else, and the ship would be searched heavily. A crash landing, though...she might create a trail that was hard to follow.

Earlier, she had noticed the Kitsune panic-comments indicated a terror spell gone bad.

"Also, don't worry about your backfiring magic incident earlier. Magic is inherently chaotic, hard to master.

I mean, I tried magic once-took me 4 weeks to learn a simple spell. Turned myself into a fish. Decided magic wasn't my thing. If it was easy, everyone would do it."
She said, shrugging and smiling slightly.

Mordekhai rose his eyebrows behind his fullface helmet before laughing heartily.
"Ahahaahah, I would never hurt him as long as he doesn't want to hurt us anymore."

"I'm of the same mine as Mordekhai. I'd like to believe I'm a soldier, not a murderer-assuming one cares about those sorts of designations. He surrendered, it's over." She mentioned lightly.

The Kitsune turned to face the man with sincerity all over her face.

"I'm quite sure he doesn't."

Zealots and Demons, Turn 36:  V-Norrec Expositions

Quote from: Caellath
Look for a good rifle as well. Mordekhai can handle the weight of the heavy ones. Heal the swashbuckler if asked to, so he won't suffer lasting damage. Heal him anyway if not asked to (unless healing can actually cause damage with terrible rolls >.>). Help him walk or carry him.

[1]  You find a peashooter... it's stalk is broken and it's sights are so far off you're not certain it could hit the broad side of. . . well anything really.  Also, you're fairly certain it has not been cleaned since it left the factory.  [4] [4 damage healed]  You finish healing Vizharren.  You carry him to an open room.  It's one of the small lobbies that dot the ship.  Nobody is in there at present and you put him down in one of the chair's looking out over the passing landscape.

Quote from: Dwarmin
Action: Help Mordekhai search for a nice rifle.

Also, Loot the best sword I can find from the bunch of pirates we just killed,

[1]  You find a peashooter... wait, that's the same terrible rifle Mordekhai found.  Something fishy is going on here.... you suspect Mordekhai planted the rifle for you to find... that tricky bastard.  [3]  You find a functional, but dull, cutlass.

Quote from: Tiruin
Search for a way out and where the pirates would've come from. Carry Vizharren.

[4]  You look around for an exit.  Then you remember all the exits are located on the top deck which is closed during travel periods.  You suspect that is also probably how the pirates got in unless they blew a hole in the side of the ship somewhere.

Quote from: Ochita
Produce some sleeping potions.

[3]  You produce a mid-grade sleeping potion.  This might just come in handy.

[2]  Their 'uniforms' (and you use that term loosely) appear to be scavenged bits of armor and clothing from past raids.  Either way, they were all made for males.  You guess that the life of high-skies boozing, pillaging, and partying doesn't appeal to many women.

((A note on magic in this game.  Magic with the strength for transformations is extremely rare.  I currently have planned two NPC/Monsters with the ability to use transformation magic.  One of them is Sareesa Tavis, the world's first mage, a divine ascendant, and leader of a holy host of angels to boot.  The second is a being so ancient, he is the one who taught Sareesa how to truly use transformational magic before she ascended to the order of the Divine.  Transformation magic is so rare as to be thought impossible by all but the divine, and for practical purposes, it is.  While transforming objects is possible by a suitably powerful enchanter/mage, the transformation of oneself and of other living things is, at present, not a possibility.))

((A further side-note while I am in exposition mode, the world, as it exists in this time period is fragmented to an unimaginable degree.  Each city, town, and village, has a different noble or ruling council and they aren't always the most friendly.  There are three exceptions to this.  The first is the Zealots, who control all of the Broken Isles, control Bastion, the Keep in the Ancient Gate Crater, and have chapters in every major city.  They are united by common creed and in general, in this time period, try not to get involved in local politics.  The second are the three Great Elven Cities in the Northern Wastes.  These cities are untied by necessity of eking out an existence in the harsh climate and also by race.  The Third and Final group that shows any sense of unity are the Trolls, who remain united to this day after Sareesa originally led them to unite.  They meet every year in a central location for one week to create the laws their societies will follow.  In times of strife they will appoint a War Chief who will act as King until the trouble passes, at which point he will be ritually sacrificed and allowed to join his ancestors.))

((Please feel free to ask me any questions about the world you would like to have answered, as the world is actually rather planned out already.))

((@V-Nor: We'll assume Nepthym was stretching the truth again :P ))

Nepthym ran her thumb against the sword and frowned. Not very sharp. Did any of these fools have a sharpening stone?

"Last call people-let's get ready to move."

Action: Search the pirates for a nice whetstone if we have time, and move on with the rest of the party when everyone is ready.

((@GM: Mordekhai has been walking around with Shruick's corpse and leaving it on the ground everytime there is combat or they stop somewhere to loot and RP. That could be assumed as long as we don't bury it or Mordekhai sets it down somewhere.))

"See, he's fine." Mordekhai said as he put the pirate down and got back to carrying Shruick.

He notices Nephtym looking for a sword and finding only a dull cutlass. He approaches the small woman and takes off Shruick's well-used, trusty and still sharp Steel Saber, spinning it around his fingers and offering the handle to the celestial.

"Here. He was a warrior as well, and I am sure he would be glad if his weapon saw more action in his name."

Give Shruick's saber to Nepthym, keep looking for a rifle, then move out with the group.

After offering Nepthym the saber, Mordekhai moved over to Akari.
"Do you want to talk about what you saw? During the backlash from the spell, that is."

((How does Enchantment work? And I don't want a 'Enchantment!' as a reply. ))

Akari glanced over at Mordekhai, doubtful if her experience would help. The man looked like the sanguine type -- benevolent, and ready to aid others.

This didn't seem like the right time.

"Wh-when we get to safe ground." she said, before turning her gaze towards the rest.

Perhaps...perhaps using what she knew from the past wouldn't hurt. Much.

"I'll just search for some- bandages. Yes. Bandages."

Akari moved away from the rest, hopeful that they wouldn't see what she was doing.

Enchantment! Conjure up some healing equipment! If possible, this means readily-applied equipment!

"Don't mind me! Just...searching. For Bandages."

Glancing at the bodies strewn about reminded her just how grim the future may be, but it was better than staying put in a world of chance and derision.

There were many regrets that plagued her life, but being accepted by these people - however strange - was an uplifting factor. Perhaps...she would repay them in turn.

How is a Draconian buried?

((It works similarly to other professions now, the skill decides whether or not you can do something, the roll decides levels of success, and then an appropriate amount of mana is expended, for the most part a nominal amount unless you're using enchantment to create your own spells mid-battle.))

Edit:  ((Damn, I'm on the ball today, aren't I?))  ((I also question the wisdom of dragging a corpse around with you that I was planning on handling myself, but if your character would feel a particular attachment, I suppose I can't argue))
