[5] [6x2=12 damage] You hear the echoes of a horrible death rattle, one you sent to terrify the elementist. At first he seems OK, however, in a few moments he falls to his knees, his hand clutching at his heart. Finally his arms legs and fingers twist at odd angles as the magic finishes the job.
Action: Fall back under cover (I believe there's doors and rooms along the hallway we are in?), trying to avoid attention-use Snipe Shot on the Pirate elementalist from hiding if possible, unless he's terrified or dead-otherwise, snipe a Rifleman instead the same way.
[2] You duck behind a wooden trash can, you have no faith in it to save you from anything. [2] You poke your head out just to hear a bullet fly by, you decide that even if your trashcan can't block bullets, you would much rather be behind it.
Challenge and try to draw some of them, defensive buckler stance plus parry.
[4] You get into a fight with both of the Swashbucklers. Neither of them are particularly skilled, but being outnumbered makes your work much, much harder. [3] [5+1/2=3/2=2 damage] You manage to scratch one of them, he doesn't seem to notice it though.
Get in cover from riflemen, charge out and flank (With Thrust) the first enemy to close with us and then try to get back into cover.
[4] You get behind a little alcove in the wall, it's just about the perfect size for you, keeping you safe from gunfire. [1] There's no way you're risking yourself unless you get something out of it, like money.

Buccaneer 1: 15/15 Health, 10/10 Fatigue.
[1] The Buccaneer apparently stressed out tries to aim for your group. He ends up hitting one of the swashbucklers [5 damage] and nearly blowing the entire leg off.
Swashbuckler 1: 18/20 Health, 10/10 Energy.
[2] The Swashbuckler tries to duel the vastly suppieor Crusader, somewhat unsurprisingly, it does not work out very well for the swashbuckler.
Swashbuckler 2: 15/20 Health, 10/10 Energy. Status: Maimed, Can't fight.
[6] The Swashbuckler tries to crawl to safety, however, he ends up right next to the elevator shaft.
Pirate Elementist: dead.
Pirate Rifleman 1: 15/15 Health, 10/10 Fatigue.
[5-1(cover)] [6 damage] Shooting through the wooden trashcan, the Rifleman manages to score a hit on Nepthym. The shield remains up however protecting the Celestial from harm.
Pirate Rifleman 2: 13/15 Health, 10/10 Fatigue.
[1] The rifleman fires down the hallway his shot ricocheting off a wall, [2 damage] and then hitting chandelier, which falls on top of the rifleman.
