"There we go!" Akari exclaimed, with her hands of her hips as she looked over the altar. "Back to normal!"

The Kitsune turned back to see her new allies, who may soon be friends if she got to know them much more, but they also seemed to already be friends and-

"Hey! You're all not bloody anymore. And...the corpses aren't all bloody anymore."

Aegnor coughed, and then walked over to the Draconian's body. Sighing slightly as he started to tend to the last rites. Better ones would have to be done later, but for now, there was a pirate infestation on the ship still. Turning to look at the other bodies, he noticed what the kitsune said, about them not being so bloody.

"Well, I think that its plainly obvious that whatever god was repressed over this demon taint is pretty happy now. Infact, I feel quite a bit more energetic. Still, I hope that it doesn't hate me for completely whitening the banners."

Eye'ing the corpses, he decides to drag them over to a corner, out of the way for now. Coughing slightly nervously, he begins to Search the pirate mage for any items that may prove useful.

Nepthym suddenly remembered why she didn't like churches. The damn singing was starting again.

"I'll be right outside the door-tell me you all are ready to move on." She said, feeling uncomfortable.

Action: Stand guard a bit outside the cathedral

@GM: Could have allowed those to be free actions. Come on, it is a corpse we are talking about. :P))

"Good work, girl." Mordekhai said with a smile towards her, finishing wrapping Shruick's corpse up and sighing.

"Leaving the proper rites for when we get back to ground, but we'll need something with fire. A thurible or incensary would really help in this case." he said as he got back to walking around the Cathedral, taking off a gauntlet and patting Akari's head as he did so. "I think you are the person we saved. My name is Mordekhai Sarvedon, pleased to meet you and sorry for taking so long to introduce myself."

Keep searching, look for a storage.

Akari smiled at Mordekhai's amusement, enjoying the way he greeted her. It was probably a custom, but it was welcoming nonetheless.

"You didn't notice my tail as you got me out? Hmm, I suppose it was the situation..."

The Kitsune looked uncertain for a moment before remembering what had occurred before she was captured to be a 'sacrifice' for the...priest and relates it to the rest. All of what she knew while on board ship.

...Why does it need to be so cramped? Well, someone does have to take some of the pieces of for rites, or the storage wouldn't work properly as a storage. Thinking about that, Mordekhai tries to take a metal thurible out of it anyway then start to move back and advance further into the ship with the group.

Just get a thurible and move to help Nepthym. If any enemy is found, bullrush them.

Nepthym leaned back into the room, speaking low. "Hostiles coming down on the elevator. At least two, maybe more. Pirates"

Then she looked for a spot to spring from...

Action: Find an hiding spot, and prepare to ambush them. Do so, unless fighting alone and sorely outnumbered or outclassed. Otherwise stay hidden.

Akari blinked. Fond memories were only diluted by the experience of nearly getting sacrificed...Well, at least there was the kind healer going by the name of Time to help.

It was nice dwelling on other thoughts. Fun, fun thoughts!

The Kitsune moved near the altar after listening on Jacelyn, "I think they were associated...somehow. I'd not want to spoil their surprise." she said with a wink and grin. "I mean, my presence must've been expected...drawing attention and all."

She was slightly saddened from another memory -- her past. She couldn't easily socialize with the people as she wanted, everyone kept on commenting about her tail and other body parts. Comparing her to more "normal" features...What there is to say, is that being accepted outright by this new group gave her confidence in this act. The Kitsune shifted her stress ball over to her bracelet, for convenience as she moved.

Be that decoy. Assume past position but keep my staff nearby.

Aegnor turned away from the tapestries for a moment, but switched back and forth until he realised that he was being silly. Deciding to get around to the rear, he prepares to cast holy shield once the pirates start to come in.

Tikan was irritated with herself. Seeing the armour, the dashing, the bravado, she’d got carried away. She’d dashed herself; stumbled into danger and a demon’s grip. This wasn’t her strength: she played in the shadows, in deceit; hearing and seeing. Normally, if she drew her knife, she knew that she’d either reached her target or failed. But this was different, fighting with these… other people. She’d have to adapt. Assess situations more cold bloodedly. She moved up.

Move into an ambush spot to support Nepthym if there is time. Stay hidden and strike last, thrusting on the weakest enemy.

((I’m not sure if there would be time: if it is obvious there isn’t, then stay in the rear with Aegnor))

Buccaneer 1:  15/15 Health, 10/10 Fatigue.
[2]  This Buccaneer stands by the elevator, just sort of milling about clearly upset about having to see the mage again.
Buccaneer 2:  15/15 Health, 10/10 Fatigue.
[4]  This Buccaneer stays close to the Messenger, ready to help with anything.
Pirate Messenger:  10/10 Health. 
[4]  The messenger enters the room and his attention is immediately drawn over to the crying Kitsune.  "'Oy, Demon Boy!  Quit fuckin' around, we got work to do.  Put the woman back and we'll get started."  He shouts, somebody having thoughtfully moved all the corpses out of plain sight.  Right into your groups trapped.  *evil grin*

((I request addition of the thurible to my inventory. Why? I asked for a resilient thurible because it'll also be used as a swinging weapon to bash heads in just in case.))

Mordekhai didn't even blink. He had been expecting that, somewhat.

"Could be worse." he said to himself, shrugging before trying to move and get free.

Get out of the storage, rush and attack the nearest enemy.
