One guard, completely surrounded, Shruick thought as he pulled from his attack, Just keep the pressure on and it's in the bag.

Move to stay behind the guard while attempting to stab (Thrust) him

There was no space or opportunity to back away. Tikan hoped her apparent comrades might be able to do something for the gaping hole in her torso. There'd be time to be more careful later, if she lived. She felt the blood run freely.

Try and keep out of the way of the guard's sword and thrust the back of his neck.

In the Far North, Under the mountains known as The Polvons

A human in a thick brown cloak sought shelter from the harsh winter storms outside on his journey from the port city of Kuth towards. . . well, he didn't really know.  Many moons had passed since Serran had felt he knew what he was doing.  Somehow, he felt closer now, closer to his destiny.  Serran summoned a small ball of light to light the cave as he moved further inwards, hoping to spend the night here after warming the chilled, damp air.

At first, Serran didn't question the cave, geology was not his speciality but something about this was not right.  He had gone in through three rooms, and now, in this the fourth room, all the stalactites and stalagmites were much smaller, they seemed somehow managed.  There was a small winding path, leading down deeper into the ground.  Serran desperately fought against the desire to explore, and set out his things for the night.

There wasn't much, a bed roll, several blankets, and a bit of basic cooking equipment.  Serran boiled some snow water he collected, purifying it for the continuation of he journey tomorrow.  Serran drank the last of today's water sighing sadly.  He knew he was here, in this part of the world for some reason.  The gods had so clearly directed him here, but for what purpose.  Serran sat, pondering the mysteries, and completely missing the sounds coming from behind him.

Aegnor saw the shield go up, saw the blade cut though. He visibly flinched, but shook it off enough to cast A Heal on Tikan

Staying behind Bernard, Shruick positioned his saber for a strong stab. Tikan calmly walked over to Bernard and attempted to stab him in the back of the neck in what was quickly becoming her signature move. (2) But before she got close enough, she was forced to leap aside due to Mordekhai's attack.

Mordekhai moved after Bernard. Apparently, the crusader wasn't the only one capable of quick movement inside heavy armor. The guard was apparently trying to escape, and that would not do. Either the man was dispatched quickly or they could be facing more enemies sooner than expected or necessary.

Kick Bernard's back to take his balance then grab his head and snap his neck.

((It's more of a justification under the RTD system than anything else, it could just as easily been anything else, for example, [2] Tikan approaches the guard, but with all of her wounds she just can't raise the energy to do anything other than weakly swing at him, an attack which is easily deflected by the guards armor.  Seeing she was doing no good, Tikan falls back to her original position.))

Tikan hurt too much to fight effectively, it seemed. Her vision blurred slightly and time seemed to slow enough for her to wonder why she kept aiming at her opponents' necks. She shook off her momentary confusion and tried to staunch the bleeding.

Action: Attempt to heal self!

(This. ^ No matter how I flavored it, la still rolled a two. Originally I had Aegnor interfere with her attack by telling her she should rest her injury, but then I thought that maybe I shouldn't do that since I don't know if Ochita would want him to do that or not.)

((No problem, I got it. I complained mostly because I thought it made Mordekhai look awfully clumsy in the likes of "MORD SMASH!" *tries to hit Bernard without aiming properly* and Tikan: "OH FU-" *has to dodge not to be hit by an idiot*

Also, because of time shenanigans with Mord attacking earlier than he should, but I understood the whole thing.))

(She could have also jumped away to avoid Bernard rolling toward her to avoid Mordekhai's attack. :P And sorry, just woke up and was checking the forums, not really 'awake' yet... or in other words I haven't had half a pot of coffee...)

Aegnor looks at bernard, and in a rare show of aggression, he jabs at bernards helm, trying to knock the guard out.

Another one trying to get away, Shruick sighs impatiently, This one in enough heavy armor to force a horse to the ground. We're already wasting enough time, and I don't think the guy tough enough to lift that armor would be as prone to talking as most.
