((Hmmm... Well, technically, now that I look over my custom history for my character, he does follow most of what the zealots already follow. He isn't actually a part of the zealot order and is a lot more easy going and less strict than a zealot is. I came up with the pilgrim of a ancient troll tradition as a way to get him relatively close to being a zealot without actually being one.))

"Fair enough, it's your choice after all. I'm no zealot, despite looking somewhat like one.

Where exactly can we find potions that can protect us against wild magic? How long do they typically last?"

((Just state "I mean I'm no 'pure' zealot" and all that.  :P))

Aegnor ponders though his box...
He shakes his head in a exasperated motion. Holding the box so its contents are shown, theres a bit, but he won't be able to create great potions. Shrugging, he decides to at least try to make a couple of potions to protect from wild magic.

((You do realize you're not born into the Zealots but rather join up with them.  Thus it's completely possible for him to have kept the same history, but still be a Zealot that joined up with them.  Either way though, I'm not going to move on my lore that all Crusaders are Zealots, although there is also room for every other profession to join up with them too if they really wanted.))

((Aegnor paused, his box was.. Glowing? After a moment, it flashed white, and he felt a change of weight. Finally looking at his now not a box, he noted that it was a belt, with a several different pouches filled with potions. So many potions. Somehow he knew that whenever he needed anything, he would find it in the belt.))

((Well, alright then. He's a zealot, just not as rigid or as strict as the normal one due to joining them when he's not as indoctrinated. Maybe he hopes to change how zealots do things and are viewed by the public?))

Ask the nurse/assassin where we could acquire potions that let us walk safely in the wild magic zone.

Zealots and Demons, Turn 56:  Disgusting Potions

Quote from: Caellath
Try to apologize and give and excuse before leaving the place and go looking for Fleur. If he still isn't satisfied, then give him a short voice report and leave afterwards.

[2] You try to shirk your duties but the Draconian acts like he doesn't even here you pulling you to the side and asking you all sorts of questions, a lot of which are more technical than you can really answer.  He sighs before looking to your two friends, "Don't suppose either of them know much about engines, eh?"  [1] Neither Tikan or Akari respond, seemingly wanting to stay out of the investigation into the crash.  The Draconaian sighs shaking his head, "I'll have work for you later, but for now just go walk around, get acquainted with the town or something.  I'll be here if you need anything."  Raeph says though he looks defeated in a small way though his face remains expressionless his shoulders are sunken down a little maybe, or maybe his energy seems a little less vibrant, like all his hopes were pinned on you.

[4]  You leave the Barracks, feeling a little guilty about how things turned out with Raeph when you notice Aegnor trying to make a potion out of the side of your eye.  He's with that Troll from earlier.  Odd you think to yourself, but there's nothing else for it.  You also notice that the Nurse Fleur is much more believably an assassin now in the blackened leather armor with her daggers, knives, and caltrops.

Quote from: Tiruin
Conjure writing implements! Turn around while doing so.

[5]  You expertly conjure a quill and inkpot and paper, but it seems Mordekhai won't be getting a chance to use them anytime soon, so you just dismiss them and follow along behind him..

Quote from: lawastooshort
Go wait outside on the steps unless required.

[1]  You really can't help with much of anything, so you just sit back and watch, then following Mordekhai to his destination.

Quote from: Ochita
Make a couple of wild magic-protection drafts

[5-2(unstocked alch. equipment.)  Somehow out of spit, a tiny bit of lemon juice and a healthy amount of prayer you make a workable Wild Magic Protection potion, two actually.

Quote from: Zako
Ask the nurse/assassin where we could acquire potions that let us walk safely in the wild magic zone.

[3]  She gestures behind you, "I zink he has an extra one, yes?"  You look behind to Aegnor who is holding up two. . . potions. . . of something.

Quote from: Fleur
Wait

"You are not really going to drink zose, are you?"  She says, having watched Aegnor put his spit into both of them.  "Desperate times, desperate measures I suppose.

I'd better conjure that for later...perhaps to write in this spellbook to avoid the cubism...

...Hello~ Who is That?

Akari tapped on Mordekhai's pauldron as she pointed out Fleur in her new outfit.

"I don't think we've ever met her before! Aegnor and Kael seem to have met a new friend!" she said happily, her tail mimicking the movements of an inverted pendulum. "Can't we talk to her...before we explore the town?"

Mordekhai's eye twitches. First a nurse and now an assassin outfit. It seemed like one of those days when some girls from his hometown decided to make little costume parties. He was always disturbed by those.
"Uh...That is actually Fleur. Come, let's talk to them." the crusader says, heading off towards the trio of people.

"Hello and what a coincidence, Aegnor, Fleur, Kael." he greets, before turning to Aegnor. "What are those potions for, my friend?"

"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Akari stepped alongside Mordekhai, trying hard not to stare at the one who had taken care of her for quite some time.

If that was Fleur...she looked wonderful in the outfit, along with the weapons - just like any of her companions! It was easy to confuse her for another hired hand, just like some of the crew on the ship.

"Are we readying for battle, Fleur? Who are we fighting this time?"

Aegnor nods in a sort of slightly proud fashion, looking at the results of his work. He'd have to keep that recipie in mind if he was ever trapped in a pantry. Or something. The point being is that while tasting slightly like curd, the potions work. However the box had even less stuff in it, he had used the last of his lemon juice and most of his powdered horn. He even needed to spit into them for alchemists sake! He was really working on the bare bones.

"Well Fleur, its the best I can do with an empty box. I'll really need a trusted alchemist after this.."

Apon seeing Mordekhai and the others walk over, Aegnor's face pales. "Oh.. Uh, hey Morde! Uh.." Glancing down at the potions in his hands, he quickly stashes them in his robes. "Wild magic protection potions. To protect from. I'm just planning to go for a walk into the really magic polluted part of town here with fleur and Kael."
