"Zee funeral will be the evening at sun set, it is morning now so you have plenty of time to prepare.  'Zere will be quite a few cremations, after all, we are dealing with a terrible accident after all.  'Zere are no plans for private proceedings or any'zing, anybody who wants to will be able to attend though."
"How about our companions' belongings?" Mordekhai asked, remembering about Nepthym's banner...He needed to carry it for her into battle, even as she slept for all eternity. It had been important for the girl, and so it would be for him.

It was his vow and duty, made as life escaped from her body and she made her last will known. And Mordekhai did not plan on letting her down unless he was taken down himself.

"I am also fine." Mordekhai said as Akari got up. The kitsune was the bravest member of the group as he saw her. She just took her chances and rushed Jacelyna at that time - uncaring of her own wellbeing and expecting only death to embrace her - while he had just been too slow and a lackluster defender.

But the time for self-loathing had ended. He sighed deeply before smiling, decided to keep what had happened in the past away from his behavior in the present.

Keep searching.

Whisper, whisper...

"Hey....remember not to let them burn the flag-it's probably in my personal effects, damn little of what I had. You can carry it now. Like I said...it's was worth my life to carry, and it's all that's left of my story. One day you might get some answers, but that's not a promise.

...then again, it's not like I can make you do anything, handsome..."
Her quiet presence says lightly, departing with a warm laugh.

Aegnor shook his head slightly.

"Oh no, its perfectly fine. My only ask is for some unneeded medical supplies, if such a thing exists after this crash. If you also know any alchemists from which I can barter some ingrediants from.. Ah, talking of which, would you know where my personal effects are? My kit and robes, staff.. Also a couple of trinkets that was in the robe. That would be appreciated.. Actually Miss Fleur, can I help you with something, you've barely touched your book, and something seems to be distracting you."

Confirm that yes, I would like to help out here, at least until the ceremony, Attempt to get my stuff, and see if I can't help out with fleur's problems, if she has some.

"Zere is paperwork involved.  I will get ze forms." Fluer says.  She hands the paperwork off to you after rustling behind her desk for a few moments.  "Zese basically ask relation and such as well as a description of 'ze items in question.  After all, we would not want to be giving away items to 'ze wrong people, no?"

"I just hope nobody touched my stress ball." Akari said nonchalantly. "It's a very, very important stress ball. Attached to my bracelet.

"Fleur, thanks for that."

"I think your stress ball will be fine, Akari." Mordekhai said, his voice returning with a bit of the usual playfulness.

He took the forms and started to fill them as well with the information about Nepthym and Shruick, describing them and their relation ("we all fought together to help the ship" or something around those lines seemed like the best explanation) and also their items, rifles, swords and especially, the banner which Nep had bestowed upon him.

The crusader calmly filled the papers until something hit his mind like a full-force blow from a hammer...How...Err...The answer seemed obvious, but he really didn't want to believe it.

"Hmm, Fleur. How did we get in these linens?" he asked, his voice showing his panic through as his face started to go pale. Mordekhai was actually very self-conscious and shy when it came to his body - although he was getting better, honest! - and it was probably one of the reasons he liked his armor so much.

Even walking around in the linens wasn't being comfortable for him, but the shock from the recent events had suppressed his feelings. Right now, he was starting to realize he was in linens and someone had changed him into them.

Mordekhai fills the forms but asks the question above.

Zealots and Demons, Turn 52:  Fleur is Busy

Quote from: Ceallath
Keep searching (for clothes) and Mordekhai fills the forms but asks the question above.

((condensed))

[3] You find a pair of long underwear in your size. . . definitely getting closer.  Ultimately you look under the long underwear and find the rest of the thick clothing, a woolen jacket, thick cotton shirt, a long-sleaved undershirt, long thick pants, water-proofed leather boots, wool socks as well as a scarf and a fur hat that covers the sides of your face.  You reach up and stroke your chin realizing it's been at least two days since you shaved.  Judging by the clothes here. . . it might not be a bad thing to start trying to grow a beard, after all if that's appropriate civilian clothing... you desperately wish you were anywhere but in the mountains for a moment.

You also find the clothes left behind for Aegnor, he also is dressing for warmth, or so it seems.  Thick brown woolen robes, cotton shirt, undershirt, and pants underneath, the same leather boots and odd scarf... blanket thing... you think it is wrapped around the head in such a way that only a slit for the eyes is left, but you remain uncertain.

[6] Fleur laughs, not cruel laughter, but definitely amused by your sudden outbreak of modesty.  "If you want to know, we had to undress all ze injured and unconscious zat came in and zen take special precautions while putting ze linens on, in order to prevent any further injury.  It is a common first step.  Really zough, what you should be asking is who took care of you while you were sleeping."  she says winking.  After a few seconds you catch onto her meaning... a look of sheer terror crosses your face as you realize the Draconian you've been chatting with this whole time has probably had to clean you, your bed, and change your linens after you. . . relieved yourself in your unconsciousness.  You feel so utterly violated you can just barely finish filling out the forms with your hand shaking as it is.  You turn it into Fleur who looks amused by the whole situation.

"Bon, I will have zeir effects collected.  Since you are affiliated with ze Zealots, I take it having zem delivered to the barracks zere will work, yes?"

Quote from: Tiruin
Fill in the forms! Use cursive handwriting...my only legible handwriting.

[4]  "Ah, excellent, your old clothes were. . . unsuitable for the climate, so 'zese replacements were made for you.  'Ze old clothes are underneath ze new.  If you need any further assistance let me know.  Oh yes... all of 'ze private rooms are occupied.  Ze curtain over by your bed is ze best we can do for privacy, my apologies."

Quote from: Ochita
Confirm that yes, I would like to help out here, at least until the ceremony, Attempt to get my stuff, and see if I can't help out with fleur's problems, if she has some.

[5] [4v1 Persuasion Roll: success] "Well, put on 'zis at least." Fleur says giving Aegnor a uniform.  She also gives you your items back.

"Well... I could use some help with somezing, I will tell you about it later." Fleur says, hesitant to say anything more for right now.  Fleur shows you to some of the injured passengers from the airship.

Quote from: lawastooshort
Eat and rest again to make sure! Try to get my belongings back before attending the funeral.

[2]  There isn't anything else to eat or drink, you have several hours until the funeral starts, which is good because is Fleur is so busy with everyone else she can't get you your items yet.

Quote from: Zako
Head into the Cathedral of War and investigate what it's purpose is and about the building in general.

[5]  You walk into the Cathedral of War and look around.  Almost everything inside is made out of a weapon of one kind of another.  Several well armed and armored priests are running around.  [1]  They all seem busy and unwilling to answer any questions or anything else.

Quote from: Fleur
Be busy with other people

[auto-success]  She is busy answering others questions and filing forms and such.

"Thank you again Fleur," Akari said, bopping the stress ball as it dangled from the bracelet. "And for the curtains. I trust you've been...careful when handling my case?" she whispered at the Draconian. "Nothing you find...weird right?"

Self-consciousness seemed like the fad of the day!

"Thanks still, for letting me keep my old clothes. It's hard to fashion these things when you want space for your tail. I don't suppose we'll be given the bill soon? That's what is usually done right? Currency for service?"

Fleur! :D

Aegnor shrugged off the news about the changing and cleaning. It wasn't something that he hadn't done before, and although it did slightly unnerve him, he understood why it had to be done, and was appreciative of the stuff that the nurses had to go though.

"Thank you Miss Fleur. I couldn't help but notice that my old robe isn't in my possessions? I mean it Was a bit ripped up, but it has sentimental value to me.." Looking around in a little bit of worry, Aegnor see's Mordekhai looking at a set of clothing, that would be something that a healer wears.
"Ah, Morde. You don't happen to know where my other clothing is? Considering that you're apparently holding up something that would suit me, I'm guessing that you have friends in town?"

Tikan wanted some silence and some fresh air. All the comings and goings stopped her mind from wandering where it might.

She would try and meet with her companions before the funeral ceremony that evening.

Take a look outside, find some hospital gardens to walk in. Try to get my clothes and belongings back before attending the funeral.

Kael shrugged in compliance with the stony silence from the priests. They must be busy preparing for something, maybe the funeral? Reguardless, looking around this place filled him with some measure of awe. The sheer amount of work that had to go into this place was astounding, even the minor fixtures were weapons of some kind!

Father would like this place. Definately for the warriors of the world...

Figure out why the priests are so busy and take a better look around. Then go out on the town again, looking for the place where the funeral will be held.

OH DEAR

Even Eria hadn't seen his body...

Mordekhai stared at Fleur with a look of sheer terror, his all color draining from his face before it started to tinge with green, his voice weak and low.
"...Doesn't the hospital have people from the same gender to take care of the patients?"

...But it was a bit too late now. Shame...He had been unconscious for two days, being cleaned by other person. The fact it was a female only made the entire situation worse for him. Fleur's wink only helped in making him even more uncomfortable with the whole thing.

He clenched his thighs in a comical display of self-defense as he sat, putting his new clothing on his lap before closing the curtains around his bed and getting to wearing it. The crusader knew that Fleur was a professional and his worries were at best, stupid, since she was probably so used to doing it that she didn't even give any importance to it.

Maybe that was exactly what got him appalled, being handled by someone who probably performed that kind of thing without giving much thought to what the patient would think about it afterwards, performing her job almost mechanically.

"...So...Umm..." Mordekhai tries to ask his final question, but is unable to. Damn it.

Ask Fleur...or kind of ask. After new clothing is put on, try one's best to avoid eye contact with anyone.

"Ah, Morde. You don't happen to know where my other clothing is? Considering that you're apparently holding up something that would suit me, I'm guessing that you have friends in town?"
"...These clothes are yours." he answers Aegnor, tossing the healer's new clothing to him, the crusader's eyes sunken as if he had seen a ghost.

"No, especially not in current circumstances." she says gesturing around her.  Looking around you realize that you have been in a hallway this whole time.  You briefly think about all the logistical problems that had to be overcome just to get everyone inside of the hospital.  "Usually, I am a, 'ow do you say..., head nurse, but with so many patients, such titles mean nothing."

Fleur looks at you sympathetically before whispering into your ear, "Do not worry, 'zere really is nothing wrong about you."

"As careful as I can be, under ze circumstances.  'Ze good news is 'zere will be no bill.  Ze Zealots viewed zis as part of zeir responsibility.  Zere were a few generous donations for ze victims as well." Fleur explains smiling at the Kitsune.
