(Yeah, I know, just went back and looked. I probably overlooked it the first time because I was more concerned with looking at her stats in case I had to take over. :P)

((She always had larger breasts from the character sheet, decided on that later, but it really it was more just to separate her from my usual females that have more modest bosoms.  At least the ones I develop with any care :P

As an aside, just out of some of the planned characters I have so far, here's their breast sizes.

Queen of the Moral Kingdom:  C
Sareesa:  C
Dianna:  B
Fleur:  A

I really like most of my females to have smallish breasts, usually the largest I go is a C-cup, so I mean, this was out there for me :P ))

(Well then. I'm guessing in your world the more evil you are, the larger your cup size? :P Although if that were the case then Nepthym, a blatantly vile person, would have HH cup or something.)

((Well, no because Sareesa is demon-corrupted at this point and she still carries the C's, as she did in pre-corruption.  I'm not going to lie, it's probably just a personal preference expressing itself.))

Zealots and Demons, Turn 49:  A Moment of Sadness

Quote from: lawastooshort, 86
Positioning herself between Akari and the shadow, Tikan fights defensively whilst Akari is pulled to safety.

[5]  You rush beside Akari and pull her to safety, saving her from possibly falling out of the ship.

Quote from: Shadow Nepthym, 75
Kill Nepthym, use the pistol and Sabre.

[3] [2+2/2=2 damage]  The shadowy version of Nepthym rushes over to the real thing pistol drawn and with a blast of shade, ends the original's life.

Quote from: Caellath, 59
Try to tackle then swing both flail and thurible at Shadow Nep.

[5] [4+1x2=10 damage] With your flail you aim for the shadow's head, raging against your inability to protect your friends.  The shade loses much of it's cohesion.  [3] [instakill] with one final swing you kill the shade.  It's too late though.  You collapse to your knees in front of Nepthym's still warm body.  "It... it should have been me, instead of you.  I . . . I'm so sorry." you say feeling tears coming on.

Quote from: GM
Advance time to crash

The airship crashes, knocking everyone on the ship against the walls, some few die, but more the most part everyone is safe.  Our heroes wake up two days later inside of a Draconian hospital.  A Blue Draconian nurse is sitting nearby with a book in her hands, reading, occassionally looking up.  Our heroes have been stripped of all items and are wearing fresh linens.  The hospital looks full of people, but many are in stable condition and Draconian healers can be seen running to and fro attending to their patients.  The nurse puts the book down on realizing you're awake.  "Ahh, how wonderful, you all zeem to be waking up." she says smiling.

Akari jolted up, grabbing the nurse with her hands.

"What happened?! Are we all dead? Who are you? The last thing I heard was a pistol blast!"

At the thought of being alive, the Kitsune forgot to return the welcoming greeting to glance around. She was alive, which broke the impossible, but...there was something amiss.

There were only three others.

Slowly turning back to Fleur, she spoke. "Were there any casualties? Can I- we, visit them?"

She felt a knot form in her chest, and a sense of foreboding came over her in awaiting the answer. She feared the worst.

Nepthym felt a blast of shadow break her world. So close...so close to the surface. Her last fleeting, cognizant thought is that she was only ever beaten by herself.

But there is no pain. Only a feeling of release. They wait for her, now. She relents-it's time to go. She was the last of them-now she rejoins them. They are sad too, but now she is together with her family again.

She hears something, far away. It... it should have been me, instead of you... Nepthym feels that pain. She had never found any measure of peace in her short life. It feels...unfair. But that's how it is.

The voice already it's fading-but in a way, it will echo with her for eternity. Until she sees him again. And, the light...is everywhere. It's...peaceful. Not how she imagined.

She speaks again, around the lip of eternity. Whose listening? Does it even matter? "...you did your best. Don't cry for me.

Just...take care of the flag. It's all that's left of me. That, and your memories."

The wind blows-as merciless as ever-and her soul alights on the winds.

Nepthym flies free. She only looks back only once-down, somewhere, far below. It looks like there's a young man, crying over her body. He looks familiar.

She wonders what might have been. What might have been.

And then wonders no more.

As Nepthym screamed in pain at that time - her voice stabbing through his heart like cold steel - Mordekhai's mind was shook, and all became clear. Jacelyna was too strong for them and two of his companions were on the brink of death.

The crusader's mind raced, and he only found one solution: take the spellcaster with him, tackling her through the hole in the floor and plummeting to their doom together.

For some reason, he was reminded of Eria's smile and of Veke patting his head paternally, happy at the strong individual he had become. His muscles tensed and he prepared for the final moment, smiling.

But before he could act, Akari, even in her sorry state, did what he should do. The small kitsune attacked Jacelyna, pushing her through the hole. There was a small moment of panic before he realized her tail had caught onto a shard of metal and the female got back inside, apparently frightened but as well as she had been.

But there was no time to commemorate. The Shadow had to be taken down, even as an oppressive feeling of uselessness sank into Mordekhai, a feeling of weakness and helplessness.

Little he knew of despair.

As the shadow vanished, both weapons dropped from his hands, a dull metallic noise echoing as they hit the ground.

His helm came next as he collapsed to his knees, feeling the tears coming. He did not stop them.
"It... it should have been me, instead of you.  I . . . I'm so sorry."

His arms embraced Nepthym's still warm body and the crusader cried. He cried like he had never did, like his life had been forever broken and there was nothing left but pain.

Tears flowed freely down his face and fell onto hers as Mordekhai mourned his loss, not caring about his image, letting his emotions take over as he felt his mind and resolve shattering.

His trembling, wet lips touched her forehead in a soft kiss and he hugged her.

And so he stood until the ship crashed.

Mordekhai wakes up, still feeling strangely weak. His hand weakly moves over to his face, touching his skin.

His fingers come wet with his tears.
