Zealots and Demons, Turn 39: Jackpot (nearly)!Throw the sleeping potion at the female pirate.
[5] You throw the sleeping potion at Maria. [3] She's mildly drowsy from what little of it soaked into her skin.
Multi-shot, multi-shot, multi-shot! AHAHAHAHAHA!
[5][5][2][5](Hit rolls against party)[3+3x2=12 damage][5+3-3x2=10 damage][Miss on Tikan][3+3x2=12 damage] "You think numbers mean anything against me. I've survived fights far worse than this." Maria says stopping one of the pistols that has been constantly twirling around her fingers before firing it directly at Tikan. Tikan, expecting the shot manages to get out of the way. Nepthym, Aegnor and Mordekhai all end up with some new holes in the front of their bodies though. She quickly reloads the pistol. "Let's see what I've got in the chamber now." she says her voice having a sing song note to it.
[1] Her second pistol jams but she clears the chamber and quickly reloads that pistol as well. "Awwww, a misfire, and I was so sure one of you were going to die right here, right now too." She says pouting
Lasso her weapon arm with the thurible's chain.
[6] v [5] You manage to get a lasso around one of her two arms, unfortunately she's carrying two pistols and after that last display, you're pretty sure your luck isn't going to be much better with the second arm.
Back away from her, fight defensively and try to observe a weakness.
[5] You hit the floor and roll to the side. You find a. . . no. . . it's not even possible. . . a loaded machine pistol is lying next to you. It looks like she lost it in the struggle to get her arm out of the thurible's chain.
Action: Wield double blades-go around and try for a Backstab attack with my dagger/Normal attack with my Rapier while Mordekhai has her attention. Unless someone gets her to surrender or fall asleep or be restrained or something. Don't attack if she's surrendered or rendered helpless and secured.
[3] [1+2+2/2=3 damage] You barely manage to even scratch the distracted pirate... losing so much blood. [2] You hit the floor and are blown back by wind into one of the control consoles. All you can think about is the bullet that pierced your insides... is this... death?
Staying outside, she inspects the whole place for any probable exit or entryway, or ambush points and listens to any suspicious sounds, other than those of battle right in the obvious path.
[5] You hear the sound of a single gunshot and five ricochets behind you. You still continue on though making sure nobody else can ambush you. It doesn't look like anybody is coming. You remember something from earlier... they were here to crash the ship after stealing some kind of valuable being transported. It looks like these pirates have already started the second phase of their plans if they destroyed all the instruments in the Bridge.
