((Heh. Nice work, didn't think there would be a closet in a Cathedral, eh?  :P

Also, last sentence. Confoosed. Groups trapped?))

Akari looked up after wiping her tears. This time, they were authentic, of a different train of thought from being sacrificed. She pressed her back to the altar and felt peace emanate from it. She was now facing the pirates, face only covered by her hand.

Sniffing -- for the tears did much more than she expected -- she said, "I-I'm not going down! Not by you! Not again!"

The despicable swine. Attacking her only livelihood and nearly sacrificing her, taking away most of what she worked for in a day, erasing years spent of trying to blend in with humanity.

It was time to show them how a Kitsune worked.

Let the Pirates taste a whiff of the Dragon's Breath! Ensure that I strike faster than my allies?

Action: Wait for the Dragons breath to die down (So I don't get friendly fired), then use a Backstab ambush on the lowest HP enemy that remains.

Norrec, I'd like to make a small change to my character sheet before it's put in play. Can you change my thrust attack to slam instead? Just wanted something different than what everyone else is taking.

Cool beans. Also, the mage looked like he had a gun. Something you might want to pick up Dwarmin given your skills and class...

((He has it, just checked, pistol and 5 bullets, granted he didn't grab the extra bullets off the mage yet.))

Zealots and Demons, Turn 29:  Buccaneer Escapes

Quote from: Tiruin
Let the Pirates taste a whiff of the Dragon's Breath! Ensure that I strike faster than my allies?

[5] [3] [7x2=14 damage] [1/2=1 damage]  Standing up you unleash a fierce wave of flames on the unsuspecting pirates, baking the Pirate Messenger to a crisp, though the Buccaneer behind him looks like he didn't even catch fire.

Quote from: Caellath
Get out of the storage, rush and attack the nearest enemy.

[4] You force yourself back out of the storage closet and run towards the still dazed pirate tackling him onto the ground.  [5] [3+1x2=8 damage]  You begin savagely beating him with your mace, all your frustration at being trapped in closet's unleashing itself on his face.

Quote from: Dwarmin
Action: Wait for the Dragons breath to die down (So I don't get friendly fired), then use a Backstab ambush on the lowest HP enemy that remains.

[4] ([5]+[1]+2=8 damage)  You throw your dagger into the eye socket of the downed buccaneer which Mordekhai slams his mace down on top of killing the man and splintering his skull.  You're not really sure who that kills counts for.

Quote from: lawastooshort
Thrust the pirate by the lift and position self to prevent escape.

[6]  You and the remaining pirate go at it for a short while he himself able to fend off your blows with his cutlass.  [1]  You try to prevent his escape, but there is nothing you can do.

Quote from: Ochita
Cast holy shield on the party, as planned.

[2]  Well, it hardly seems necessary, I mean, everyone is dead now after all.

Enemies:
Buccaneer 1:  15/15 Health, 10/10 Fatigue.
[4]v1persuer  The pirate easily gets back on the elevator and slams the button to go back up and close the doors.  The doors close quickly and he is soon on his way back up.
Buccaneer 2:  dead.

Pirate Messenger:  dead.

Akari pulled herself up from her position, satisfied that justice was given to those who wished her harm.

The Kitsune looked at her allies with a joyful expression, seeing how they dealt with the pirates. "Is there any other way up other than that elevator, or do we have to scale it?"

Seconds passed as Ari scanned the area. There were only three pirates and nothing else but two bodies. Recalling how she got to the place, she looked to her right.

There are stairs.

No wonder we missed that...The colors match the walls.

Not wanting to break the rhythm, "Or we can just use those stairs and run up, the boring way.

"Let's go!"

Stairs! Run it!

"I suppose we'll try the stairs then. Just be watchful of when and where we should stop." Mordekhai said, rushing towards the stairs.

Up the stairs.
