Kael gulped nervously as he thought over what Fleur told him. If she was right and it was a swarm of these creatures, then that would be very bad. The sheer amount and small size of the roaches, if they were normal size that is, that would take to mimic the shape and size of Fluer would easily number in the thousands. It would be difficult to kill, hard to contain and quite dangerous if it didn't stay to one form.

"If ya are correct, I fear for our lives against such an abomination."

Kael looked around for a moment, taking note of a distinct lack of a certain, socially inadept companion...

"... Where's Aegnor? ... I suddenly have a very bad feeling about this, especially if he has run afoul of the mimic... Fleur, go into the tavern and get multiple bottles of strong alcohol and rags for each of them. If it's a swarm like ya said it could be, then we'll need area effect weaponry for the best effect, which means fire bombs. Ya'll have to catch up to the rest of us later, so move fast!

Everyone, we must move quickly and find Aegnor! If he has been waylaid by the mimic and it is what we think it might be, we must stop it getting near the tavern where all the people are. We must protect the innocents!"

Send off Fleur to get supplies to make molotovs. Then round up the gang and start looking for Aegnor!

((Ninja'd by the GM :/ There goes my angst. Also by Caellath, because I hesitated to click post.

Meaning post coming later.))

((Sorry about that))
((It's K ^^

Also, we're all at the tavern and Aegnor is on his lonesome, yes?))

((Well, I'll keep Mord's action, because it's already becoming usual for the characters to stay behind and also it won't be a problem in the end.))

"Why are you so nervous, Kael? Both me and Akari were also left behind with Aegnor and he was fine when we left, no need for someone to grab us. He probably just stood there as we did, far too deep in thought." the crusader said, leaning against the wall of the tavern.

Mordekhai sighed and gaze drifted across the distance.
"If you want to go after him, though, then I have no problem with you doing it. I'll be waiting here in case he gets to the tavern while you're searching."

Keep waiting outside the tavern.

>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Kael nodded at Mordekhai, hand on his sword as he kept looking around.

"That's probably a good idea if the thing gets past us and heads for the people in the tavern. Someone needs to stop it from getting near it and hurting someone.

And I'm nervous because this thing, if it is what we think it is, will be VERY hard to kill normally and due to the wild magic will be almost completely unpredictable in how it acts and attacks. I fear for us all if we cannot destroy it. Stay on guard for imposters!"

((Also, did I manage to tie that cloth to Fleur's wrist?))

"Sure. Also, if you find me anywhere but around the tavern area, it'll be a false Mordekhai unless the first thing I say happens to be..." he moved closer to the troll "...Morning Star."

He then moved back to lean on the wall. "Then you are good to go. Good luck."

Mord then remembered what he was supposed to do and moved over to Fleur with the blue piece of silk cloth "Excuse me." before tying it on her wrist carefully.

"At least now it'll be harder for any doppelganger or similar to imitate you outright. Or at least I hope so." the crusader says sheepishly.

"Hey, codewords! You're brilliant Mordekhai! That'll deal with those doppleg-..dopllej-...mimics! And..." Akari said, trying to ignore the fact that her bracelet disappeared...hopefully it just turned invisible. She brooded over the fact earlier, but decided to withhold it in favor of exploring the tavern.

...

There was nothing there which Mordekhai described women dancing pro-actively, or whatever he said...it was hard to understand him from beneath that nice helmet.

"I'll take Inu as mine. What about you Fleur? Hey wait, hold that thought, I'll ask Aegnor first! I've not heard from the guy for a long time!"

Return on the path backing from where we were coming from.

Will the bracelet to return!

"Mordekhai, Fleur and...Troll! Let's go!"

"Mordekhai, Fleur and...Troll! Let's go!"

"I already said I'm staying here, Akari. If Aegnor comes this way escaping from something and there is no one here, it'll be way worse." Mordekhai answered.

Tikan stopped trying to eavesdrop on all these strange-accented strangers when she remembered her acquaintances on the other side of the tavern. She rushed back to them. Mordekhai seemed to be tying up Fleur?

"Um. Hello? What's going on now?"

Wait with Mordekhai and Akari for them to stop tying up Fleur. Watch.

((Sorry, bit disorientated today and as far as I can tell Tikan has no idea what is going on))

"I was just tying a piece of cloth to Fleur's wrist." Mordekhai answered. "You know, trying to make her different from the false one. The cloth has a scent, even if Fleur lacks one."

The crusader seems slightly unsure of the effectivity of his technique, though. "Well, I still hope they just stay near here and we just don't get into a new confusion."

"Ohhh..." mumbles Tikan, trying not to blush. "I thought it was something to do with that bar you were in before. Some of the ladies in there were... um... Yes. Quite. Silly me..."
