Alright: good news, we're not dead. Been playing for thirty minutes and I've just got migrants. So, update time!
This is a dragon raptor leather book. It is studded with amethyst. It shows some rust and is well-made.
WAAARGH! The previous clan leader (or overseer as dwarves say) said that he was tired and that he needed "Vacations". What an elf!
Anyway, the fellas said that I had to handle this, so here I am, Shingy, "Overseer" of Taintbroil!
I took a quick look at the situation: our farms were... almost non-existant, our well was poisoned and we lost a good fella. I took some decisions:
The following pages are reports about the fortress with sometimes schematics. It is written with giant squid ink.I've ordered a booze stockpile to be built near the trade depot. As we don't really need it, if we use it as a trade good it will be useful.
At the workshops level, I ordered a carpenter's workshop to be built, as I didn't found any. I also told our miners do dig out a stockpile for the wood. I hope that it won't burn.
I changed the dining room. The previous overseer didn't know -as me before- that it is one table per chair. I told our mason to work faster so we can all eat and drink in the dining room.
It's not done yet, but it progresses.
Now, the real problem: the well is poisoned. A spore man and an orc thought that it would be fun to jump in the well. Unfortunaly, they died.
I ordered two wells to be built. They'll drain water from the caverns, that we will breach soon I hope. Still, they'll be for
emergency only as the water down there is limited (Note: I won't build them: I'll just pre-dig the channel except one tile that you'll dig if you need/want to; I don't want any forgotten beast in here for now). I'll just dig another tunnel in the aquifer for now.
I also began the construction of another slag pit and mandated to our glassmaker two green glass axe blade for a factory.

Some migrants have arrived!
I'll add them to the inhabitants list, which follows.
The farmers told me that we are going to lack of food, and so I told them to build more farms: the majority for plump helmets, and the others for quarry bushes.
Alright, this is the end of the first update, I hope you enjoyed it. If you notice errors in my writing or if you've got any advices, feel free to tell me!
