Okay, heres the first experiment with the Coraibolds. They seem a bit too deadly though. (ripped off a few dwarf heads)

I cannot wait to pit these against my modbolds in a gladiator style battle. My thanks go out to you.

Coraibolds, Modbolds and standard kobolds.

I built three robots for the exact purpose of fending off Kobolds.
I even built sirens into one of the models, but that was annoying...
Plus, the fact that their gears are really just a second layer of iron is kinda weird...
But one model shoots lead cannonballs, so I'm fine with the draw backs.

This is a side-effect of dwarven animal training (hit animal with hammer until it forgets that it hates you, then lovingly cuddle it).

I'm not your average Bay12er. I care about my drunken midgets.

The first version was horribly bad made but I have been improving it.

Something that happened while testing them. (they are pretty much werekobolds that transform their victims into more werekobolds)

How the heck can they wave an elephant around? They should be almost identical to regular kobolds. The only difference is the extra copper bodypart (inborn large dagger) (and ofcourse the syndrome and attack names)

Edit: ignore the red arrow

The creature tokens might need some tweaking since I added some stuff (large_roaming, booze stealing and so on.)

Edit: I haven't tested these in fortress mode so they need some improving. I think that the transformed victims remain as a part of the same civ they were so perhaps add [Crazed] or something in the syndrome. Oh, and perhaps get rid of that extra mystery limb..

Those humies will be too small and squint to use their longswords and halberds after coraibolds manage to shank them.

Read the part about shooting them.

Not that I'll ever download such a thing.

This might be a bit off topic but I think this would be the best place to mention a Kobold glitch that happened in my fort. Corai you might want to look away from the rest of this post. The 'Bolds turned suicidal, they would rather steal stuff than defend themselves, even when a rabid war elephant was gnawing on their arm. The bug is fixed now but I didn't think to save the raws (modding is new to me) so no one else can witness the horror of suicidal Kobolds.

I need those kobolds, if I can implant a lack of self-preservation my modbolds will be further effective in attacking forts.

Because they still run to the hills the second they loose a single soldier.

I'd love suicidal kobolds. It'll give my lifeminers more to mine.

Isn't [NOFEAR] or something similar an option? Maybe I'm just stupid.
