Introduction
My last few games have ended terribly for one reason or another,
but all can be summed up to being "too big" and "too time-consuming".
As a result, I thought I'd try something different...








Turn 1
You wake up in a sparse woodland, naked. You don't know who you are or where you came from.
The weather is warm, even though the sun is still only just rising.

What do you do?

You amble up a tree and take a look around from the heightened position.
From what little you can see, the ground rises to the north-east and lowers to the south-west.
The trees seem to thicken to the south-west.

What do you do?

Collect branches and stones, try to make a rudimentary axe. For chopping.

I assume a medieval setting, because of 'peasant', correct?

Head into the valley towards the southwest, grabbing some stones on the way. See if we can knap a large stone into a simple hand axe.

Axe? First we need to knap a sharp stone, then thresh a branch into thick thread and then tie the head to another branch using the string, sounds kinda complicated, go for it.

I mean a sharpened stone you hold in your hand, there's really no need for the handle. If you will.

I just think that waking up naked and alone, we would want to look around and try to see if there was any obvious clues to our present circumstances before we started crafting weapons...

Midday


Upon searching the ground of where you awoke, you find nothing
to indicate what caused your present predicament. There is a faint
smell of booze to the grass where you awoke, however...

You make a bee-line to the south-west, keeping an eye out for any sharp stones.
And indeed, along the way, you find a stony outcropping. After a moment of searching,
you find a somewhat dull stone, but the sharpest of the batch.

You grab a branch and attempt to figure out how to stick the two together...
but this is beyond your current understanding.

What do you do?
