About once every 30 human seconds for the last several dwarfyears i have gotten the following spam:  "Urist McPetowner, fisherdwarf cancels give food, animal inaccessable."

I investigated Urist to see if he has any pets, and he owns a pet ram.  The description of the ram ends with the ominous statement "He is incredibly skinny yet gigantic overall.  His upper body is gone."

That seems problematic for a ram.  Is there any way i can track down this .5 of a ram and get this spam to stop?  I am unable to hit "z" from this screen to zoom to him, and the z>animals menu doesnt list a Ram McRam (which i presume has something to do with Ram McRam being deceased and dismembered)

What do I do?

I don't think there is anything you can do. If a pet is starving and dies the owner keeps spamming that message. It's a known bug.

"Upper body is gone" might mean that the ram is dead. Try looking for the ram corpse under the corpses menu of the stocks screen.

so i found the ram.  he was on top of a wall i had built somehow.  i deconstructed the wall to get the corpse out, but this did nothing to stop the spam.  I am considering putting Urist in my room that slowly fills with fun until you cannot breathe anymore.
