Problem about goblinite collection efficiency.

After every siege I got some caged goblins or trolls, some corpses, many clothes, weapons, shields, helms, breastplates, and body parts. Siege comes every season, before the dwarves collect the items of last siege.
So I need some advice.

1. How to make sure the prisoners are disarmed?
Is there a way to distinguish the dumped/death-dropped weapons and the wearing ones? They both show an F in the stock screen.
Now I designate a random goblin to be pit into the barrack and keep an eye on the animal stockpile, on the way a dwarf drag it to the barrack, 'v' it and check its inventory. It's boring.

2. How to separate the metal items from the clothes?
I don't need the clothes, so it's better to keep them forbidden. But I want to reclaim the metals and melt them.
Plan a: I designate reclaim, dump, melt on the battle ground. The problem is the metals are remain in the entrance until a furnace operator picks it, which makes melting items unsafe and inefficient.
Plan b: Reclaim and dump all the items near the smelter. The problem is dwarves waste a lot of work hauling the clothes.
Plan c: Reclaim the items, and waiting for dwarves to haul them info the right stockpile. So a dwarf can haul a bin of clothes rather than dump them one by one. But since the items are not forbidden, some poor peasants would claim and wear an ugly loincloth.
Plan d: Magma. I will do this as soon as I have enough silver.

3. Does the dwarve always prefer an above ground garbage dump to an subterranean one?
It's my fought to make the battleground under ground. But the stupid dwarves haul the troll corpses a long way to my backyard, where I make a small above ground garbage dump for rotten kea men and 'trained' goblin parts. I don't want to make a garbage dump outside the front door as it may be very dangerous.

You can collect your prisoners' goodies by building their cage, then selecting the tile it's in and unforbidding everything you want.

d-b-m overrides d-b-d, as items cannot be simultaneously set to be dumped and smelted. So go d-b-d, then d-b-m on the cages, undesignate the cages themselves, and put the dump zone on an atomsmasher. Once all the goblins have been stripped, put the dump zone near your smelters and once again go d-b-d on the cages, then undesignating the cages themselves. Ta-daah!

Cages can be in animal stockpile / anywhere, dont have to be built.
d-b-c over cages to Claim everyhting inside.
d-b-d to Dump everything.
Look at ('k') and un-designate cage itself for dump (hlight and 'd').
NB: The nearest active garbage-dump zone will recieve the dumped items - BUT, the search ignores z-levels meaning that you need to be careful that another dump isnt closer in XY (no matter what z-level its on).
All your free Dwarves will strip Gobbos and dump items.

You now have naked Army Training / !!Science!! subjects and a pile of {forbidden} loot.
Claim the dumped items to make them available for stockpiling etc.

I always use just one garbage dump specifically because of this problem.  Ironically most of the things I [D]ump are valuable things I want to keep... things like body parts and corpses and refuse go into the automated incinerator.  This way I can just hotkey the dump and zoom there whenever I need to and have a quick look at what's accumulated.

BUT, the search ignores z-levels meaning that you need to be careful that another dump isnt closer in XY (no matter what z-level its on).
Wrong - it absolutely does take Z-level into account, but since it's "as the bird flies" distance rather than actual walking distance (since that takes a lot longer to calculate), one Z-level down is the same as 1 step to the left.

I know how to disarm prisoners. My problem is about how to know my prisoners are disarmed. I know what to do around 'Once all the goblins have been stripped', but I don't know when is it.
Every siege produce 20 prisoners or so. They are hauled to an animal stockpile. I d-b-c and d-b-d on them, but the dwarves are busy dumping the corpses (I said it's my fought to make the battleground under ground). When the next siege comes, I can't tell which cage is from the old siege, and even worse, I can't tell whether all the old prisoners are disarmed.
I think if I can solve the other two problems, there would be enough haulers and this one should not be a problem.

If you're not sure which ones have been stripped of gear, why don't you just reclaim and dump every gobbo just to be sure? Reclaim, dump, then go to stocks screen to un-dump the cages.  You can mass pit an entire siege very, very quickly with the right setup.

One way to get rid of all the clothes is to put a refuse stockpile underneath your dump, then turn off everything in it that would cause miasma if it's inside.  Clothes rot away to nothing rapidly on a refuse pile.  I use this system to strain out the useful goblinite.

I don't feel it's 'rapidly'. The clothes can't rot before the next siege. So the dump is never clean and I can never d-b-c on the dump.
However I don't know the exact time a piece of clothes needs to rot away. Do you have some science about it?

All I can say is "not very long" unfortunately.  Nothing more precise.  One thing you can do, however, is just go through the pile with K and hit C on all the stuff you want, as well as M for the stuff you want to melt.  The rest will just rot, even armor eventually.  Doesn't take all that long if you start at the bottom.

For melting I go through the stocks screen... Say for example I want my military only in iron armour... Any goblinite I find that is copper or some other material, I will melt down by just hitting 'm'. Sometimes I have to unforbid it, but it's simple on the stocks screen. Any foreign weapons and other metal weapons I melt in the same way. This doesn't distinguish between say, the iron helm the goblin was wearing, and the iron helm your military dwarf is wearing, so it generally only works for metal types not being worn, but it can help out a lot... Then you just set a stockpile for metal armour and weapons

If your military is wearing iron and you want to melt iron golinite you can expand the categories and just melt the lowest-quality ones.

Hide the globlin stockpile.

go to the stock records and order all the hidden wapons to be dumped.

Wait.

chech that all the hidden weapons have been dumped.

Now the prisioners are disarmed but still armorer, making them perfect dummies. Kill them with training weapons for bonus exp/cruelty.

Oh this is want I'm seeking for! I've never used hiding, but it seams to be a perfect 'marker' for 'where are the items from'. So I can distinguish the death drop(F), the dumping(HD), the dumped(HF). I will try it!
