I believe that is the case, yes.

And apparently the pledge manager isn't out for two weeks, from the look of the email they've sent out.

Heads up, the supplemental purchasing shipping document for the Reaper Kickstarter went out today. Confirm your package, buy additional ones and provide your shipping details.

I am not... they didn't have a single miniature I'd want to buy.

That and you don't need miniatures if you don't have friends who would want to play with them... or friends smart enough to play with them.

I got my miniatures a while ago.

And honestly....you get what you pay for. Half of mine were bent in some way, either at the base or their appendages and weapons. The plastic looks pretty cheap. I'm sure the large models are nicer but the bulk, smaller models like the Dungeon Pack look....pretty bad.

I backed only for the paints so I'm not that bent out of shape. But people should probably be prepared to temper their quality expectations, especially for the bulk filler stuff like rats, goblins, and so forth.

Nenjin, I agree, some of the smaller ones are pretty bad, in particular the archers and skeletons, but with some work you can bend them back. I actually think most of them are very good quality and have a high level of detail without a lot of the mold marks that the harder plastic miniatures(WH40K) have.

I might give mine away in a contest here, depending on interest. My nephew might want them so I have to check that first.

EDIT: Also, no matter how you shake it, the Vampire package alone was worth something like $200+ retail for just $100. Just a great bargain if you like or use minis.

I think it is probably the pliability of the plastic that makes me think of them as lower quality...particularly because I buy a lot of the harder plastic figs from GWS and it's what I'm used to now.
