I spent a little bit of time making goblins scarier. They bite more or less like helmet snakes now.
I'm probably going to change the venom to something more interesting though.

Make it rot only the bones, reducing dwarves to a pile of flesh, still breathing, but incapable of doing anything. I think that's what would happen. Has science been done on this?

Definitely draw it!
I left town last night and only have my cell phone, as soon as I get home on Sunday I'll take a crack at bone melting poison if nobody else has made it.

The bones would have to get surgeried out by a surgeon if you necroticized them.

And I bet you'd still have a capable fighting dwarf.

I mean, I remember hearing about dwarves with no skin or fat still wielding weapons.

Skin and fat are different than bones, though. You can still technically grasp without skin and fat. Without bones, all you have is muscles that don't work anymore and a bit of armor vs the environment.

Also, make the syndrome preserve the spine, otherwise the dwarf would suffocate.

I accidentally accused a master vampire and it used it's super speed to kill me in one combat round.
It did this by grabbing my leg, ripping it off, and beating me to death with it.
In less than 6 seconds.

had a werewolf cub (yes an actual werewolf) turn up and promptly get caught in a cage trap. Not going to take any chances with it, never having tried to weaponise the various weres, I pitted it into the slice and dice room that takes care of captured untrainables; a 12x12 room filled with weapon traps with 10 large serrated glass disks per trap. 34 pages later of "the [insert quality here] large, serrated glass disk strikes the werewolf pup in the [insert random body part], tearing apart the skin/fat/whatever" it finally dies.
