Total sense it makes you see I'm a blue washing machine oh it goes so nicely with waffles have you not noticed, sir
blue washing machine nicely with waffles
blue waffles
It's the most insane comment I've ever seen. While googling Yahtzee for a project, I found a cheesy "dating is like yahtzee" page. That was the first comment.

Suddenly...

The Weremonitor Oko Tuthruuse has come! A large monitor twisted into humanoid form. It is crazed for blood and flesh. Its eyes glow spring green. Its sepia scales are oval-shaped and close-set. Now you will know why you fear the night.

So this thing appears on my map, attacks a wild boar and bashes its head in. Then in the middle of the vicious assault the monitor turns into a confused human woman. She simply wanders off the map, leaving the poor boar to bleed to death.

(Now, I do know it's supposed to be a monitor lizard, but my first mental image was of a crazed computer screen randomly attacking the wildlife. The glowy green eyes could very well be the leds lights...)

Awesome reports and pics so far, keep them coming, people :)

He may not be a monitor, exactly, but the image that popped into my head was BMO. And who can tell me, with complete honesty, that they didn't think of that or something similar?

Or T.O.E. from Rice Boy.

Or my brother (on the right):

I think that's a little more impossible than I'm likely to have time for.

A Lizard?
I am disappoint. :(

I was expecting a "Were-Monitor" to be a steampunk transformer robot that unfolds from an ironclad!

...wasn't everybody?

Oh, I didn't notice that.
That is slightly terrifyamusing. The latest MH updates are getting pretty dark.

I got bored at Entry 17.
I need to start watching it again.

Edit: Correction, that's Entry 26 or so. 26 was in my favorites at least.

So yeah.

My Dwarves did it again, but this time they out did themselves.

Olin you clever Dwarf.

These were all salvaged from another successful defense against the menace that is the undead raven flock.

The very last bolt has to have been around from the very first year of my Fort or at the very least way back to the second attack of the Necros, and is the holy grail of bolts if I've ever known one to exist. Currently all six are now in the quiver of one of the Marksdwarves (I have no idea which) or some ammo bin somewhere (I have no idea where either). I suspect my Dwarves are deliberately hiding them.
40000 years from now Dwarves will be digging up relics of Olin's, still functional and impossibly effective. How is he making these things?!!

A titan made out of one of those instantly evaporating syndrome stones used as workarounds in mods tried to attack the fortress.

One of my best forts fell when a FB with some nasty dust died near my fortress entrance....

The cats and dogs of the fortress rushed out.... dropped dead on the spot... (you can see where this is going)

Not realizing what was happening, I built hundreds of coffins for all the dead pets and waited for the dwarfs to start moving them.

Shortly after, my fortress fell as every single dwarf would fall over and then suffocate seemingly without cause.

I killed a giant blob made of fire (savanna titan) and tried to pick up its wings. I was suddenly unable to move other than pass a turn, and got "You are melting x8391829381293819283192831983" until I died of blood loss. Strangely, I had no wounds.

Suddenly...
