Did you do the Planepacked glitch? If so, I want to see that bad boys description.

With that weight I could imagine:
The swordsdwarf taps the recruit on the hand
The recruit slams into a door
The recruit slams into a sill
the recruit slams into a door
the recruit slams into a bed
the recruit slams into a goblin breaking his lung, pancreas, third left foot toe and about six teeth
and another goblin
The recruit slams into a wall.
The recruit has bled to death.

No no, it's still less than one Urist in weight.  I imagine he just rubs a bit off of each bar he uses and tosses out the rest (double entendre most certainly intentional).

I am more tired than I thought.  I read the cost and thought it was the weight.

I just remembered something that happened in a previous fort of mine. It's not a "report" per se, but I think this might be somewhat funny to draw. I was having some trouble setting up a range for my marksdwarves so, despite them saying they were "going to archery practice", they were just sitting on the booze drinking all day with full armour and equipment.

Yep, that's pretty much how dorfs train at anything.  Just wait until we get a fully operational apprenticeship/education system going.

Future Devlog:
Activity Zones for Education must now contain ONLY one Tavern and/or Booze Stockpile, not every Tavern on embark square.  Tavern Room Quality still has beneficial effect on Teacher efficacy.

Is there any way to get an artifact's description into a text file? It takes a stupidly long time to scroll through the thing, and I'd probably have to take hundreds of screenshots to capture every description if I did it like that.

(also, yeah I planepacked it. FOR SIX YEARS.)

I got a joke for this one ready already!

So the goblins arrive to siege during the traders still making their way to a depot, and an axeman charges a horse and says "Why the long faaorijdsanjkdshiaudhaaargh".

Schrodinger's horse, forever biting goblins and not biting goblins until observed.

Incorrect. At the time of biting the horse may have been in other place.

OBJECTION!

I actually made sure that it wasn't just an old report that I was browsing through the siege. The goblin really was struggling to escape the grip of a horse that was many tiles away of it, also the screenshot has both the horse and the goblin flashing the way that creatures do when they're engaging each other in combat.

The report kept being updated with "goblin fails to escape the grip" until the horse left the map. It also did not manage to move at all until the horse left, which I recall is how creatures handle being bit-locked.

Of course, although to be fair, the events only brought me to the spot the goblin is seen standing on, since that's where the bite-lock occurred. I'm fairly sure it's the result of a bug, along the lines of that wagons move on their own and the animals are in front of 'em just for show, allowing for a wagon-pulling animal to engage in combat and put a bite-lock on something, but the wagon moving the animal away doesn't break the lock because the creature doing the biting has never let go of it or hasn't actually moved away, breaking the lock in both cases.
