Hisir Namedene

After a brief search of his immediate surroundings, Hisir finds a suitably tall, sturdy tree and climbs up it without problem.

The Chosen One studies the lay of the land closely from his elevated position, making mental notes of things like visible trails, and the small glade located to the east. Outside of the forested area and off to the west, Hisir can see a small neighborhood, as well the prison that he and the fugitives only recently escaped from. To the northeast lies the town they even more recently (somewhat unsuccessfully) sneaked out of. And just south of the forest, there appears to be a couple of houses situated on the other side of a quiet road.
As Hisir continues with his observations, a very distracting and increasingly loud noise is soon heard. Looking to the skies, Hisir suddenly spots a police helicopter heading in the general direction of the town. Huh. The local authorities must be taking this whole 'assault against trained prison guards and unlawful release of numerous convicted criminals' thing pretty seriously.

Hearing the sound of the fast-approaching helicopter, the fugitives seem to assume the worst, and consequently, begin to panic.

The Moderator(s)

Without letting his guard down, The Moderator bolts over to join Zanzetkuken beside the RAVEN Interceptor. Again, incurring no hostility from any of Black Maple's forces.

Estimated time passed: 5 minutes.

Calm the fugitives down by schooting the blade of his weaponinto the blades of the heli, and so, destroying it.

In an attempt to help his allies keep their cool, the Chosen One remains hidden in the tree, and prepares to take out the newly-arrived aircraft...

As it flies overhead, Hisir sends one of the blades of his halberd shooting off into the sky and toward the unsuspecting helicopter. However, despite his aim being nearly dead-on, the results of his surprise attack turn out to be less than ideal. Hisir's blade not only fails to bring the helicopter crashing violently to the ground, but the chain connecting it to the rest of his halberd also manages to get itself firmly tangled around the aircraft's fast-spinning rotor. It's just a good thing that said chain happens to be inexplicably endless in length, otherwise the entire weapon would almost certainly have been ripped from his grasp.

The Moderator(s) & Zanzetkuken the Great

The duo enters the RAVEN Interceptor and takes a quick look around. Everything appears to be in order, and there's still no sign of anyone or anything that wants to try and stop them from making their escape. The Chosen Ones are now only a few small steps away from taking off in one of Black Maple's greatest technological achievements to date...and no one seems to care in the slightest. Sorta anticlimactic, actually.

The Moderator(s) & Zanzetkuken the Great

Comfortably seated and (still) completely unchallenged, The Moderator readies the RAVEN for takeoff.

Much to the relief of the Chosen Ones, the aircraft doesn't appear to have been sabotaged in any way. And after a few seconds of fiddling with the controls, they're all set to take to the skies and finally extricate themselves from the infernal clutches of the Canadian government. It would seem a successful getaway is now all but imminent, so without further ado:

Undisputed victory over Black Maple in 5...4...3...

Unwilling to let the police helicopter so easily escape his wrath, Hisir decides that, if a subtle sneak attack won't do the trick, he will simply have to rely on raw physical force to bring the bothersome aircraft crashing to its doom.

The Chosen One prepares to hop down from the tree, and with all his might, tug the helicopter straight out of the sky. Yet, just before he can actually go through this cunning plan, something goes unexpectedly wrong; the instant Hisir stops the chain of his halberd from extending any farther, he is abruptly yanked from his lookout perch by the unanticipated strength of the hurrying aircraft. Though fortunately(?) managing to keep hold of his weapon, before the Chosen One knows it, he is being dragged uncontrollably through the treetops as the helicopter continues onward towards the town.

Reduce the length of the chain until Hisir flies next to the craft and then kick the door open and kill the pilots.
