Solemnly, but with iron in your voice.
This world has but a single hope. Its up to you to decide if that hope is lost. Follow if you wish.

Allow Lunus to guide you within the outskirts of the town. If the man follows you, explain about the conflict that is unfolding.

"Strange, nobody's here but this is still maintained.
But what do they do here then?"

Try to find out for what this tower might be used for.

Sir Havel the Unyielding

The man stands in the parking lot with Sir Havel, unsure about how to react to the Chosen One's words. As the knight of stone walks away, the man does not follow; his fear and uncertainty will not allow him. All he is able to do is watch silently as the stone figure makes his way off into the night.

Hisir Namedene

After a bit of investigating around the property, Hisir discovers the reason for the tower's well-maintained state is that it apparently also serves as a museum. It's devoted in particular to a now deceased man by the name of William Thomas Beckford, who was the tower's original owner. The museum appears to be closed to visitors at the moment, which would certainly explain why it was so difficult to get into.

Did you miss this before the update before the most recent?

Zanzetkuken looked upwards to the sky.  So much like Earth.  Almost exactly how I remember it being before I was taken by him.  Almost.  But not quite  He hid his armor below his robes and walked out of the alley.  Zanzetkuken observed what he could, deducing the area of the city he was in.  He did not have any idea where he was, but he knew places to find out.  He began searching for a place that could inform him of where he was located, and find out some of the events that were going on in these times.

Continue following the guidance of Lunus. Stay away from roads and innocent humans, unless they seem to be in mortal danger.

I don't believe so. I assumed you had stopped focusing on all that so you could divert your efforts to finding a university and selling off your ancient otherworldly artifact for some quick cash.

Sir Havel the Unyielding

Sir Havel continues walking for a good while before spotting some parked cars and buildings not too far ahead. Clear signs of a human-inhabited area.
The size of the settlement doesn't seem all that impressive, but it does seem to be the only one around for miles.

Enter the settlement and look around. If a human stops you, stoop to his height and listen to him politely.

Pull out my Predator, and start moving around. Look for any kind of building or settlement. If I find a person, talk to them, after hiding my pistol.

Taom stares at his hand, bewildered at his inability to use the simplest of abilities. Perhaps, in this world, I no longer have my powers? Maybe they will come back? Suddenly terrified at his vulnerability in the open he searches for a shelter of some sort.

He immediately begins to beavergoat the man quite thoroughly! At the very beginning, the man is mystified by James' actions, but his face quickly becomes a mask of horror when the procedure starts!

"OH GODS WHY? WHYYY?"

After a twenty minute session, the man is left white as a sheet, hairless and completely and utterly dead. James congratulates himself on a job well done!

You said wander around til morning. Since you currently have no way of knowing when exactly night ends and morning begins, I'm taking that to mean "wander around til it starts getting light outside".

Sir Havel the Unyielding

A small water park, a museum, and an inn that appears to have at least a couple people staying in it are all that stands out to Sir Havel as he explores the settlement. The buildings all look fairly old. And though it may just be due to the late time of day, the place seems like it's been almost completely abandoned.

The Moderator

Deciding that he's waited long long enough, The Moderator removes his pistol from its holster and begins to carefully make his way through the dark woods. The distant howls and occasional subtle rustling of branches remind The Moderator that he is not alone in the wilderness, even if he does happen to be the only human in the area.

The Chosen One has no way to know if he's making any progress toward reaching civilization, or if he is only further distancing himself from it. Nevertheless, he continues on. After all, taking a chance is better than sitting around doing nothing, right?

Taom
Some exploring around the edge of the copse reveals to Taom that there is a rather pleasant looking town not far to the east, at the bottom of the hill that the copse sits on top of. All the other directions seem to be mostly wide open, hilly terrain; hardly any suitable places to be used as shelter. The town, on the other hand, seems to have plenty of shelters. The only problem being that most of them likely already belong to other people.
It's a difficult situation, and unfortunately, one that Taom does not have much time to think about. While looking out at the town, he notices a group of three of young individuals, perhaps somewhere in their late teens, making their way up the hill for reasons unknown.

Estimated time passed: 15 minutes.

21:40 remain.
