Zanzetkuken the Great

"...I suspected you were suffering from some level of mental instability almost as soon as this conversation began, but I didn't realize it would be this severe...you're clearly more than just a little unstable; you're completely delusional."
Before either Zanzetkuken or the elite soldier get a chance to say anything else, a clear and composed voice speaks out through the numerous loudspeakers built into the walls & ceiling of the room, directly addressing the Chosen One...

"Greetings, Planewalker. Very sorry to interrupt the informative little debate you were having with one of our facility's esteemed defenders, but after paying careful attention to this whole situation as it has unfolded, we have come to the conclusion that all of this pointless conflict has been allowed to drag on for far too long.
You see, while your unexpected visit has no doubt been an intriguing occurrence, the tremendous importance and costliness of the many projects we have underway here means that we simply cannot afford to let the work of our specialists to fall behind schedule. Needless to say, your presence is proving to be an increasingly serious distraction from such work. It is for this reason that we now feel a different approach is in order, and are thus prepared to make you a deal; one that we are confident will ultimately be in the best interest of all parties involved:

On the conditions that you agree to never disclose any information you might have acquired regarding this facility or its staff, refrain from causing any more trouble within Canadian borders, and peacefully comply with some minor security procedures before taking your leave, we at Black Maple are willing to completely forget about all of the inconvenience you've caused during your time here, and leave you to pursue whatever endeavors you may have outside of the country free from harassment by our organization or its supporting government. We can assure you that 'The Moderator' will remain perfectly safe while in our custody, and that any and all 'rescue' attempts are both inevitably futile and entirely unnecessary.

Before you answer, please keep in mind that if, for whatever reason, you decide to refuse this very forgiving attempt at diplomacy, you will be leaving us with no other choice but to resort to more drastic means of handling the situation."

The Moderator(s)

Obeying the squad's orders without question, The Moderator slowly lays down on the floor. In that same moment, someone can be heard calmly speaking to his fellow Chosen One through the facility's PA system. Black Maple's supervisors must be running low on options, as from the sounds of it, they're currently attempting to get rid of the Planeswalker by means of bargaining with him...

Other-Moderator

"Well, there was that one time when the genetics department accidentally turned an entire group of volunteer test subjects into feral, subhuman mutants. I'm pretty sure that information is classified, though..."

There is no way in hell he is gonna say yes to that. Planeswalkers aren't the type to give in like this.

Adressing whoever was on the system, Zanzetkuken said, "while your offer is good, it does everything but what I came here to do.  I don't leave without I came to an area for, and if that is your best offer, them it looks like I may need to try something a little...drastic."  Glancing towards the soldier he was speaking with previously, Zanzetkuken said to him (with a grin), "I am not delusional.  I am what would be considered half insane."

The Moderator(s)

The Moderator's remark earns him a small jab to the back of the head with one of the soldier's assault rifles. "Quiet, you."

Other-Moderator

"Hell if I know. I don't work in the genetics department, so I was hardly involved in the project. What I do know is that, once they had everything back under control, some pretty extensive measures were taken to ensure that it was safely locked away in a section of Black Maple completely inaccessible to anyone lacking explicit authorization. All for the best, I suppose."

Zanzetkuken the Great

"We understand that you desire the release of your friend. However, you must also understand that his company is still of great value to us, and that relieving him from our custody at this time presents too much risks for us to consider it as an option." The voice replies.

"If you promise to behave yourself, we may be able to allow the occasional scheduled visit. But beyond that, there is nothing more we can offer."

Zanzetkuken thought for a second.  "So that's your final offer?  Okay then..."  Zanzetkuken's eyes took on a darker tone, before he proceeded to planeswalk behind every soldier, decapitating them.  "Offer denied."

Zanzetkuken the Great

With a shockingly abrupt change of character, Zanzetkuken instantly puts an end to any chances of a peaceful resolution by making a sudden, brutal switch to the offensive.
Again making use of his Planeswalking powers, the Chosen One begins to appear behind every soldier in the room, one by one. Each time making an attempt to swiftly and remorselessly sever their heads from their bodies. With almost no time to react, and little ability to defend themselves from the Darksteel-clad Planeswalker, it is only a matter of minutes before the area is cluttered with corpses and drenched in blood. Unquestionably gruesome, yet undeniably badass. (+Badassery)

The few terrified soldiers that manage to evade death by ducking or jumping out of the way at the just right moment waste no time scrambling for a place to hide. Meanwhile, in response to the ensuing massacre, an alert goes out through the entire facility, calling all available military personnel to action.

The Moderator(s)

The Moderator certainly makes some excellent points. Though, seeing as most of the soldiers that were once keeping an eye on him have now become nothing more than headless cadavers bleeding out all over the floor, it is unlikely to do anyone much good.

Other-Moderator

"Wish I could say. The problem is, even if I were allowed to tell you something like that, I'm not exactly sure what the answer is myself. Could be locked away somewhere in Black Maple, could be dead, it's even possible they could have somehow avoided both and went into hiding. Like I said, I was hardly involved."

Estimated time passed: 5 minutes.

15:40 remain.

Zanzetkuken looked towards the moderator.  "Are you going to stay on the ground or get moving?  Honestly, I've had fights with rats that were harder than that!"

The Moderator(s)

The Moderator picks himself up off the ground and hastily loots an assault rifle and eight extra magazines from the nearby corpses; more than enough ammunition to create a whole new batch of corpses, should the need arise.

Other-Moderator

'Great. Let's hear it, then."

"Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there
I'll tell you how I became The Moderator of Earth

In west Australia born and raised
In the city was where I spent most of my days
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool
And all doing some camping outside of school
When a really big ship, up to no good
Started crashing down in the wood.
I got in one little look and the guy got scared
And said "You're becoming a Moderator before I dies"

I phased to a base and when I appeared
I felt really fresh and others in the rear
If anything I could say that I would probably win
But I thought ya, homes, off to Moderators!

I worked up to Grade about seven or eight
And I yelled to the trainer "Yo, homes smell you later!"
Looked at my base I was finally there
To sit on my chair as the Moderator of West Aus."

"Now I can tell you the time I became Star-Captain in Clan Jade Falcon. If you want to..."

Back to serious buusiness

Advance outside the door cautiously. check both ways.

((This is taking a while.....))

(probably) Won't be much longer now. Think of this as extra time to plot and evaluate your future plans of action.

The Moderator(s) & Zanzetkuken the Great

Assault rifle at the ready, The Moderator slowly steps through the doorway and scans the area for danger. The slightly less cautious Zanzetkuken impatiently pushes past him and runs out to the middle of the hall, eager to lop off some more Canadian heads.

Oddly enough, the Chosen Ones find not a single opponent awaiting them outside of the room. Whether or not that's a good sign is up for debate.

Other-Moderator

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air appears out of fucking nowhere and slaps The Moderator for stealing his theme again.

"Um...sure..."
