Bow in reverence. Master.

Introduce the boys as new followers and your personal retainers and ask that they be shown to the acolyte quarters to begin their training, then inquire more about the shrine and its keepers once you are alone with the Master.

Continue absorbing the corpse while keeping it's form, and disperse a small amount of myself in the air to observe the surroundings. Observe the hell out of those surroundings.
((Also, just realized what I did. Ouch  :P))

The Moderator(s)

"Very well. Assuming there's nothing else you wish to tell us, we have only one more question for you before we bring this session to a close:

What is the agenda of the Moderators and their council?"

Other-Moderator
"Doesn't have to; this is only a reconnaissance mission. As long as it gets you and the lab geeks to our destination, there shouldn't be any problem. Once we're there, they'll probably search around a bit, take some pictures, then relay the info back to even bigger lab geeks still here at Maple. After they decide on what they want, the higher-ups will send whatever transportation they need to get it back to base. The troops are just tagging along to make sure nothing disrupts that plan. Though, if you ask me, five fully-armed soldiers seems a tad bit overkill...

...Anyways, if you're ready to head out, then go hop in and make yourself comfortable. It's gonna be a long ride."

Sir Havel the Unyielding

The elder calls for one of his fellow shrinekeepers, and asks him to show the boys around a bit. He tells the boys that he will come and talk with them in a few moments, and waits until they are led out of the room before addressing the Chosen One:

"Welcome, Havel. It is a great honor to have one of the Moon Goddess' most loyal followers as a guest in this holy space. This shrine serves as an earthly archive of the many brilliant works and teachings She has generously bestowed upon the mortal world throughout the ages, as well as one of the few remaining havens for those that still follow such teachings. In times long past, followers of Lunus would travel here from all over the Earth to study the invaluable knowledge and artifacts contained within these caves. And in this very room, when the moon was full and the sky was clear, those deemed worthy would be permitted entrance for an opportunity to commune with the goddess herself."
His voice grows more somber in tone as he continues. "Sadly, over time, the number of people who continue to acknowledge Her, let alone remain faithful to Her, has dwindled drastically. Our duties have receded from acting out the will of the Moon Goddess across the world, to descending into secrecy in the hopes of preserving Her gifts and lessons. Today, the responsibility of caring for the shrine is passed on mainly by bloodline...this makes me especially curious of how and where you were able to find a pair of individuals who are willing to dedicate themselves to Lunus at such a young age."

TorZon The EverShifting
((Pfft, and here I was thinking you were just really good at playing the role of a completely amoral entity. Then again, I suppose not fully understanding what it is you're doing is actually a pretty accurate representation of TorZon's perspective.))

As TorZon assimilates the last of the corpse, it has a small portion of its mass escape from the wrapped fabric, giving it an improved view of its current area:

At the moment, it's being transported in some sort of multi-passenger, land-based vehicle. One of the large creatures is busy operating the vehicle's controls, while the other sits quietly beside it, holding onto the rest of the Chosen One.
Through the clear glass windows of the vehicle, TorZon observes that the path they are travelling on is lined with other buildings and vehicles of varying appearances, and that the environment is illuminated by the bright sunlight of daytime.

Jorn Darkmane

Obeying the man's orders, the Chosen One departs from the forest and heads back toward the settlement, hoping he'll be able to gain an even better grasp of just where the hell he is.
Luckily for him, after a bit of wandering, Jorn spots a sign out in front of an establishment parking lot, conveniently revealing exactly the info he had been searching for. The sign reads, "Gadsden Elementary School".

Estimated time passed: 10 minutes.

21:15 remain.

The Order of our Holy Mother will not be lost, and I will help our people restore the old shrines and make our bloodline strong again. As for the boys, I rescued them from evil ones. They are eager, if temporarily misguided. Regardless, they were very close to the taint. They must be cleansed as a precaution before continuing upon the path. I won't have this holy place be desecrated by such foul forces. I was surprised to have sensed them so soon upon this world. Solus has grown blind since he was first given charge over this world, evidenced by how he allows such disgusting creatures to even tread in these lands. Explain to the head monk about what you know of the dark ones, and try to find out if it was merely an isolated incident. Ask how many followers remain in this temple, and how many shrines, whether lost or active, still exist. Request that the young ones' training begin immediately, and that the battle monks give them no quarter, and that the scholars do their utmost to impart their wisdom upon them. Ask Lunus to accelerate their ageing until they are young men. ((Is that last part too much? :P))

Yeah, probably not gonna have much success with that part. After all, she's a Moon goddess. Not a time wizard. ;)

((The only difference now is that I know what I'm doing. Now I get to savor it. Not in character of course, but still.))
Have that mass in the air divide into two streams of gas (colorless, scentless, etc) that will enter the larger beings through any openings and go into the bloodstream through osmosis. If this stretches my matter too thin, attempt to seep in through the tiny holes on their coverings (pores in the skin). Otherwise the main mass will continue to feign death, and if entry is successful, the smaller masses will slowly, unnoticably assimilate the large beings.
((Just like a good Thing expy.))

In an incredible act of self-inflicted fuckery, I somehow managed to accidentally refresh the page JUST as I had finished writing the update, and have only just now finished retyping it all. So yeah, apologies for the delay on this one. Now, I must slumber...

Sir Havel the Unyielding

The elder nods in solemn agreement with the Chosen One's words. "It is unfortunate that your existence has created such a fissure between the Divine Siblings; each of them are confident that they are better fit than the other to decide what your fate should be, that they are doing what is best for everyone. Yet it would seem that Solus' path has become a sad irony...he has grown so fervent in his mission to hunt you down for your past wrongdoings, that he now neglects the very creation he had set out to avenge, and in an age when it is most in need of guidance..." There are a few moments of silence, before he moves on to the information Sir Havel requested.
"As of right now, we have fifteen devout servants of Lunus residing in this sacred space, myself included. Though only a mere fraction of the members we once had, there is fortunately still enough of us that we can continue to maintain the good condition of the shrine without having to give up other important time-consuming activities. Like eating, or sleep." The elder says half-jokingly.

"There is a great subterranean temple hidden within the Himalayas. Older than even this archival shrine. It was one of the very first places on this planet that Her followers called home. I have no doubt that it is still inhabited; the monks residing there have long managed to keep themselves distanced from many of the world's troubles, due to the temple's hazardous and remote location. There is another shrine located deep in the jungles of Loreto, Peru. Though last time I spoke with the head shrinekeeper there, they were experiencing a time of much turmoil caused by both internal and external influences. I am uncertain of whether they were ever able to overcome their difficulties...as for any forsaken shrines, the only two that may have avoided being looted by thieves and razed by conquerors at this point are the shrine ruins located in the rainforests of western Malaysia, and a holy keep that was constructed somewhere in the Rub' al Khali desert. Sadly, the latter was swallowed by the sands centuries ago, so there is little hope of it ever returning to its former glory...

I shall prepare the boys for their training, and consult the others about these dark beings you have encountered. I have my own theories, but it would be best not to speak that which I am not yet certain of. If our records contain any information at all about the creatures you speak of, I can assure you that I will find it. If there is ever any way we can assist you in your quest, please be sure to let me know. Now, if you don't mind me asking, what is it that you plan to do while the younglings remain here to start on their new path?"

TorZon The EverShifting

TorZon shifts its separated matter into gaseous forms which are undetectable to the large creatures. The Chosen One then discovers that, even though it would take a considerable amount of time to completely sift itself through, it is indeed capable of infiltrating the creatures via the holes in their outer tissue layer. In fact, his plan would have gone perfectly, if only they had stayed still for a little longer. But, much to the disappointment of the Chosen One, the vehicle came to a stop. The creatures then suddenly got out and began hastily walking toward an unknown building, disrupting the infiltration process and causing the minuscule portion of TorZon inside of them to dissipate.

After entering the building, the creatures soon meet with another of their own kind, who they willingly hand the disguised Chosen One over to. Slowly, the new creature unwraps the fabric, and starts to inspect TorZon closely...

The Moderator(s)

"Very intriguing...thank you. We will have someone standing by in case you recall anything else that you'd like to discuss. Otherwise, simply relax and enjoy the peaceful solitude until we decide to speak with you again."

Other-Moderator

Once everyone is seated in the helicopter, the ceiling of the room opens up, revealing a starry, dark blue sky. The quiet of night is shattered by the sound of powerful whirling blades as the aircraft takes off. And while everyone else keeps a wary eye on the Moderator, the pilot sets course for the land down under.

Jorn Darkmane

Several minutes of thoroughly looking over it, and Jorn finally manages to locate the town of Gadsden on the state map. Apparently there are two other small towns close by to the west and east, named Hopkins and Eastover respectively. Further out to the northwest is Columbia, South Carolina's capital city.

Zanzetkuken The Great

Deep into his meditation, Zanzetkuken decides to meet with the spectral figure. He inquires about telepathic communication, and whether it would a viable option for him.

"No. I mean, if each of you were aware and open to the telepathic thoughts you were sending, and it was a mutual effort from all parties involved, then you might have a chance of getting some rough messages across. But other than that, short of miraculously gaining some amazing mind powers, I wouldn't count on it.

However, if you have anyone specific you'd like to talk to in mind, I could try getting them to join us here, which would allow you to chat with them while they visit."

Estimated time passed: 15 minutes.

21:00 remain.

Find a quiet place where you won't be bothered. Meditate and reach out with your mind. Practice giving the boggart simple commands. Attempt to sense other Chosen Ones.
