A game of Cards (Forum games) 6/6
« on: August 07, 2012, 03:46:53 pm »

This is a forumbased Cardgame. But not just any cardgame. In this cardgame the starting deck is entirely blank(at the beginning) and is composed of an infinitif amount of cards, divided into 50 different cards, of which there's an equally infinitive amount. Each player has 7 cards on hand, each card identified by a number between 1-50. When a player plays a blank card, he may define that card (What it's effects are and so'on). This defines all cards with that number. Whenever a player now plays that card, those effects happen. (Note that the blanc card didn't have any effects). A defined card may be vetoed by the GM or 50% of the players.

Rules that are set in stone:
1. The player with the most victory points at the end wins.
2. Everyone starts with 7 cards. The GM will PM you their numbers and will also PM you newly drawn cards and such.
3. If you're not sure about a rule, ask the GM. He's always right, except when he's wrong.
4. The GM or 50% of the players may veto a card. The GM may veto a player veto.

Rules not set in stone:
1. A player can play as much cards as he wants during his turn.
2. A player can skip his turn and grab one card

Love this game, consider me in.
It's not entirely the same though. I added some rules for balance and to prevent people breaking the game.

Well, four players is fun too. I'll let other people take the last 2 spots whenever they want.

Anyway, turn order (Randomly drawn). I'll PM the cards soon.

This turn order please me, anyways here's the cards I'm playing.

#24- When this card is played you gain five victory points.
#31- When this card is played your opponent skips his next turn.
#3- When this card is played it creates a game-wide effect, cards that give a player victory points cannot be played. The effect can only be removed by playing a card that can somehow remove effects, otherwise it stays in play until removed.

Nope

The effects only happen when the card is played a second time.

#21 - When this card is played it creates a permanent game-wide effect, every player  will lose 2 victory points per turn starting from the next turn
#22 - When this card is played you steal a random card from the next player's deck
#42 - When this card is played you may ignore one game effect of your choice and doubling that effect for all players for 1 full round

44- Changes the dynamic of the game so that the person with the lowest number of victory points wins. This effect is reversed if another 44 is played
41- Everybody except a player of your choice gains x2 victory points
4- Renames Victory Points to something else of your choosing (such as Willsauce Points). If points are currently named after you, all point gains and losses are doubled.
26- If 10 of these cards are played, the game ends
