Jim:  Given you don't usually BYOR, what do you expect coming into this game?

Think:  Think you're ready to think, Think?  What type of ability would you most like to have as town?

Dariush:  Are you more likely to submit a role to try to get a certain type of ability or to submit something you like/think is cool?

Toaster: I think I can think, but thinking's not my strongest suit I think unless I think of a think to think right away. I think? Crap, think doesn't sound like a word anymore.

The ability I want most as town that has a realistic chance of appearing is either a kill or a roleblock. Both let me take direct action against my suspects without having to maneuver for a lynch, like I would if I was a cop. Kills are nice because they force the role to be revealed, but they also carry the risk of making a mistake and eliminating too many townies too quickly. Roleblocks at worse prevent one member of the town from acting, and no one role would generally make the difference between victory and defeat on the town side, while blocking the mafia kill can make a huge difference. The obvious downside being that you don't get official confirmation that if there was no kill it was because of your block. If I had to pick one, I'd probably pick a kill. I trust my judgement and luck well enough.

How about you Toaster? What would you most like to have?

Tiruin: You performed quite well in the last BM, my apprentice. What did you feel you learned from that game?

Urist Imiknorris: As scum, what kind of role would you be most afraid of? What role would you hope to get? What players would you want most for your scumteam?

If they end up lynched because they didn't post, oh well. Too bad for them. Maybe they should've tried posting.

Urist Imiknorris: As scum, what kind of role would you be most afraid of?
Trackers. Remember how in BYOR 8 I was a nexus, and still did shit like blocking my buddies to foil trackers? I'm paranoid of them as scum.

Quote
What role would you hope to get?
Honestly, I'd most like to be a scum doctor. Nobody ever suspects the doctor. Failing that, I'd hope for redirector, just to cause shenanigans.

Quote
What players would you want most for your scumteam?
A good player who could win as solo scum if necessary, and an outrageously scummy player (like BMC) who I could drive a lynch on to look town by way of unspoken WIFOM.

Shakerag: Are you satisfied with your alignment?

TolyK: Would you rather have a protect or a roleblock?

Book: You're scum and it's N1. Who do you kill?

Tiruin: Are you scum, you scum?

ZU: Are you going to single-handedly win the game again, or will you let the rest of us play?

Dusty: What's your favorite sort of role? And have you played a BYOR before?

Zombie urist, do you think there's anything special about this setup, or just yet another random game?

Jim, why does it burn your eyes? :P More seriously, why do you think you were chosen as a person to speak in the intro? And what do you think will be more important - scumhunting (and lynching) or roleusing?

TolyK: Would you rather have a protect or a roleblock?
Depends on the number of uses.
Oneshot: roleblock, as blocking scummy targets is easier (to figure out who to do it to) than figuring out who would be killed at night.
Multiuse: protect, as no bad effects could happen due to it.

Dariush:  Are you more likely to submit a role to try to get a certain type of ability or to submit something you like/think is cool?
Neither. I tried to do the former in BYOPs (twice) in an attempt to be anti-town. Instead I got a 'FUCK YOU' from the mods. :( So I picked the role by opening the subforum, noticing a new BYOR and submitting literally the first role that came in my mind, because if I didn't do so, I would spend several days self-tormenting about why I didn't pick some other role.

My ScumSense 1.0 is tingling. Can you guess why that is, UI? (hint: that's because no matter how he answers, you'll be able to twist the night's results to your needs)

Think, of which alignment would you prefer to be?

You should upgrade. Version 1.0 is not known for its accuracy.

It's a wuba game so there will probably be something fun.

Gonna ask questions later.

Shakerag: Are you satisfied with your alignment?
I don't really care which alignment I get, so ... yes?

Bookthras: What's your opinion on the semi-hammers rule?  How does it impact your playstyle?

Toaster: Which is more valuable in your optinion, tracking or watching?

Hapah: Say you're a town randomizer, would you rather target someone who is cult or someone who is scum?

borno: You're in a large game with three NK'd players already.  If you had a 1-shot to give you the identity of the killer, who would you use it on?
-Somewhat scummy player, flipped as town
-Strong player, flipped as scum
-Lurker, flipped as survivor.
