Based on my own idea in Rollers block, and quite unsimilair to Micelus intrepretation. It's basically a Godhood style game, only with evolution mechanics and intelligent AI's taking the place of Gods.
Note: This is a mini-RTD, and is intended to allow me to test some new ideas. I will try to, among others, improve my writing and such, so this game will be more roleplay based than rulebased. (I reserve the right to change any and all rules at a moments notice and without warning, though I probably won't).
Introduction
A long long time ago, in a galaxy quite far away...
On a barren planet, a new star has appeared in the sky. A mighty light, trailing a glowing trail behind it. In another place, in another time, people might have fell down to worship it, religions might have risen, wars might have been ended,... or started. Yet not on this planet. It's barren surface is devoid of anything even remniscent of life. A huge, empty wasteland. Yet that might soon change,...
Up in the sky, the giant flare had dissappeared, and now looked more like a regular star. Even if there had been intelligent life on the planet, they could not have fanthomed what hung above their heads. A giant ten kilometer spaceship, on a Journey that has last longer than many a lifetime, is about to reach it's destination. A behemoth of steel, a Titanic ship, a wonder of modern engineering. And all that with a single purpose: To set out towards the stars, and spread live where nobody has come before. Yet not even a Titan like this can survive such a voyage intact, and a small hole gapes in the ships side.
As it approaches the planet, the ship slowly springs back to life. Computers are awakened from long hibernation, machines move again, for the first time in ages and soon small drones are scurying about, repairing the damage they can. Yet not all can be repaired. The ship's main AI and processing core was heavily damaged, and , recognizing that it is unfit for duty, has transfered control to the secondary AI systems.
On the planet below, everything is still quiet and barren. For how long, that is the question. For high above it's surface, the ship breaks itself in pieces, and the six terraforming sattelites move into their positions.

There aren't much mechanics, as much of the game is based on roleplaying. All actions are paid for in power(power cost being relative to action difficulty). Using to much power at once will give you an overheating chance. Using to much power isn't a good idea either. There are multiple types of template actions, and ways to get energy. These differ per period of which there are three.
1. Terraforming phase
-This phase sees the modification of entire continents, and the creation of new live and such. This phase will be rather short. Each player is limited to five actions, and there's no turn structure nor power limit. Actions are extremely powerful. Modifying continents, athmosphere, adding sattelites or making new terrain features is entirely possible. Making new life is a bit harder, though you can try to seed life and see what happens.
2. Evolution Phase
This phase sees the evolution of different species. Species will evolve on their own, but the AI can intervene in this evolution in a variety of ways. They can bring in cloned/ Gene modded animals, actively select for traits in target populations or alter the environement. Large scale manipulation will most likely not happen anymore, though occasional terraforming is still possible. Power is distributed based on the succes of the AI's created species, and additional power can be produced by the AI's assets.
3. Intelligence phase
As soon as multiple species become intelligent, the game slowly shifts into this phase. Evolution slows down and stops(though it is still completly possible, just harder), and the focus shifts to technology. Players can interact with species in a variety of ways, from abducting people and implanting thoughts into their heads to sending holograms and robots. Manipulation of thoughts is also possible.
Power is awarded based on support for the AI.
