I'm not even eating chocolate. In the future, I may, but until I feel like this consistently, I will not allow myself anywhere near caffeine. I need to get back into fighting shape. The way I look right now (5'1", 217lbs) is highly unacceptable, and I'm the only one who can fix it.

As I don't know how much a '' or lbs is I decided to let Wolfram translate it for me.
While it didn't actually told me how much that is in metric stuff, it did gave me your heart volume, fat mass and the advice to lose 57.1 kgs.

That means that the amount of weight you should lose, is ~1 Dutchling® :P. Get rid of me dude!

x' y" is standard Imperial notation for "x feet and y inches", and lbs is used for pounds, thereby making him 1.55m and 98.4kg.

Wow  :o. I tried to placate the crave with cheats, like allowing myself a soda on my birthday or when a friend was over. The crave saw my weakness though, and hit me hard. Once you quit caffeine you have to treat it like meth or something. Not even once and all that, heading to the rehab center after a Sierra Mist.

Funny you say this, but in rehab, I've noticed that some people have far more trouble quitting smoking and drinking coffee/caffiene than quitting meth or heroin or what have you. Maybe because drugs are super expensive, I'm guessing?

Also, for MZ: Turn off your AC. Just the natural thermoregulation of your body will burn so many damn calories, it won't even be funny. Seriously. Although, with your daughter, I'd say don't leave it off when she's coming over/is around, just for her sake, but it really will help you lose weight.

I am cutting back on caffeine as well. I have had exactly 1 2 diet mt dew:code red today, and an mildly sweetened iced tea. I will probably have 1 or 2 more.

I really want to get down to 1 diet soda a day.

I am also cutting back on my fruit juice. I was drinking a quart a day, that is an extra ~1000 calories.

Don't have AC. We rely on fans and airflow, and most of the time, it doesn't work well.

I am cutting back on caffeine as well.
Good luck, bro!

Damn. That sucks man. Both that heat regulation isn't helping more, and that your AC is non-existent. There are no wins in that situation.

Hopefully, I'll have plenty of student loans soon, and I will have an apartment again.

Hey, I've been working on this too. Well specifically I'm trying to give up soda. I've been drinking black tea instead, and I can confirm that the exercise thing (I do 20 minutes a day of cardio at least) really does help. I've been cutting back on the tea as well, to phase caffine out of my diet entirely.

I used to drink pretty much nothing but full-sugar cola, but realised that it was making me super-tired constantly (I'd peak on having a can and then trough badly a little later and need another). The cans here are also labelled saying that each can is ~30% of your daily recommended of sugar...

I switched first to only diet caffeine-free fizzy drinks like fanta zero and lilt zero, and then started drinking a lot of squash (no-added-sugar fruit-drink concentrate). I feel a hell of a lot better for it.

Had a cherry limeade made with sprite yesterday, because I went out to eat (Buffalo Wild Wings just opened in town,) and there were no non-pop and non-alcoholic choices. Really wanted a mountain dew, but the limeade was better anyway (but much more expensive), and sprite has no caffeine in it.

Seriously considering a rum'n'coke tonight.

You don't have to give caffeine up entirely. Just lose the fizzy drinks and switch to tea and coffee; good substitute and less fattening.

Also Zero is right, sprite is pretty nice even though there's no caffeine in it.

But coffee with sugar boosts your awesome mental powers.

Nah, I kid. The Daily Fail is a rag of lies and hyperbole anyway. :P
