I've never really had an addiction to caffeine. It doesnt make me hyper or anything, when I consume it it affects me like anyother drink. But how's your fight going?

I tried to cut back again.

Yesterday I woke at 6am, had 1 coffee and a code red, a glass of ice tea at lunch and another code red at about 3pm. Felt like crap most of the day.

Woke up at 6:30, thought it was a lot later, felt like crap. Had a coffee and a code red.

Really feel like crap.

I have no idea how I am going to manage to cut back to normal levels of caffeine.

Normal levels? A coffee, a code red, a glass of tea and another code read is like 200% of what I normally have.

Honestly, my best advice is to just stop cold turkey if you want to stop. You will feel like shit, but you will get better. It took about a week for me to stop getting headaches, and after another week of feeling normal I slowly started drinking a very small amount again, only in tea and well before bedtime.

Don't stop drinking cafeïne. To combat the overweight from all those sugars, just smoke pot. It speeds up your sugar metabolism. Don't give in to the munchies though.

Yes, to combat your excess weight you should add an illegal addictive substance to your diet! That will certainly make you lose weight.

You can enjoy tea without sugar, or if you need sweetened tea there are a number of calorie-free sweeteners. There are sugar-free sodas as well, if you must have them, but the point was to avoid excessive amounts caffeine, not sugar.

I drink mate as well. One every morning before work. Coffee afterwards in the workplace is optional.

Hmm, where I come from (Holland) it is not illegal. As for being addictive, it is psychologically no more addictive than coffee, and physically, not at all.

You get over it, Nadaka. It just takes a couple of days to regulate.

Bleh. I went about a week without caffeine but then realized I wasn't anywhere near ready for a test the next day so I went nuts with the energy drinks. On the down side I haven't had a good night's sleep yet but damn did I destroy that exam.

I haven't started any addictions yet. Quick, which drug is most likely to expand my mind and make me a better person?

I like mints, though. If you want something that's legal in Holland but considered undesirable by society, try salted licorice.

Bluh, please don't get addicted to anything. When you try to come off of whatever you're on, you turn into a raging alpha bitch. Yes, even if you're a manly man.

But then I won't be able to solve previously intractable problems and gain IQ points with recreational drugs!

I have for the 3rd straight day in a row, cut my caffeine intake.

1 coffee, 1 code red, 1 tea.

Like a boss.

The bad news is that code red were on sale yesterday, so I have a trunk full of 12packs. That was probably a bad idea even though I saved a lot of money over the normal price.

Hate to break this to you, but this isn't a TV show, no matter how much TV tells you it is. :-\
