Name: Bogdan Mstislav
Description: A tall, bearded man with brown eyes, Bogdan has an incredibly gruff voice despite his 'Gentlemanly' ways.
Background: An orphaned child, Bogdan never met his parents, instead being raised by the local priest. At the age of 12 however, he got taken away by nobles to work as a slave. After a while he managed to escape,  living by mugging people who he thought deserved it. Nobles, thugs, murderers, all the same to him- People who have done 'Bad things.'

Name: Eggen
Description: An average sized late twenties with straw hair and grey eyes.
Background: Eggen was never particularly criminal minded but just kind of fell in with the wrong group of people after getting arrested for accidentally taking part in a protest against the previous ruler. Ended up hassled and in debt when in jail and eventually came to the conclusion that the best way to have a quiet life was via the application of internal organ rupturing ultra violence. Now he’s out – and in again, and out again – it’s just proving a hard life to leave… especially when the money for performing forced liver removals is so good… Over time he’s become a little detached from the real world, convinced that there’s no situation he can’t get out of by stabbing someone in the pancreas. And if he dies? Well, he figures he deserves it by now. None of it was really his fault, anyway. It’s just how things work out. Sometimes you make choices, sometimes they’re made for you. Sometimes there just aren’t choices, there’s just what happens.

Oh. I haven't seen that show. I'm more of the type who enjoys japanese and other foreign cartoons, never been interested in western/american style ones.

Background: Old Alan tends to go on and on about how back in his day, he was the most feared bandit in the country, a heartless robber with a pile of plundered riches bigger than most houses. In actuality he's just a crazy old man who got thrown into jail for somehow managing to rob a small merchant caravan. It's unknown whether Old is actually his first name.

Description: A tall thin man with a goatee.
Background: Jake enjoys killing. He enjoys it a lot. He first kidnapped someone when he was 15, he then ransomed them for enough money to finance further kidnappings. Nearly all of his victims where returned dead, and he uses a dagger to slit their throats. He is a quiet person, with a trustworthy face. He was caught trying to ransom a wealthy merchant.

Here it is, turn one!  Is it just me or is the forum acting up?

Rukukin, the short-tempered bald man, is led along to the [4]th gate and tossed outside.  The fourth gate of the City is the Desert Gate, leading of course to the Great Desert, a sandy wasteland which stretches for countless leagues in every direction.  Rukukin muses that though food and drink will be hard to find here, he'll be hard to find, too.  On some impulse he walks out into the desert until he can no longer see the City behind him; now the sand dunes stretch out as far as the eye can see.
Rukukin is carrying the pointed stick he grabbed in the arena and the rags he wore there, nothing more.

Bogdan Mstislav, the gruff bearded man, is tossed out of the [5]th gate.  The fifth gate of the City is the Mountain Gate, which of course leads to the Embertops, a rugged mostly-dormant volcano chain.  The fertile soil and plentiful caves will make finding food, drink and shelter easy, though there will probably be more bandits than targets in this area.  Bogdan climbs a mountain on some instinct and looks around; behind him he can see the walls of the City, and ahead of him endless mountains, each higher than the last.
Bogdan carries a small spool of twine he found discarded on the side of the road and the rags he wore in the arena, nothing more.

Eggen, the straw-haired organ thief, finds himself outside the [5]th gate as well, watching Bogdan leave.  He twirls the pointed stick he took from the arena and heads down a different road.

Jake the goateed kidnapper, is thrown out the [1]st gate, the Wasteland Gate.  Unnamed and uncharted barren rocky wasteland lies outside of this gate; food and drink, shelter, and targets will be next to impossible to find here, but at least nobody will come looking for him.
As he wanders out of sight of the City walls, Jake glances down at the empty burlap sack he liberated from a defenseless old lady wandering outside the gate.  It's all he has now.

Old Alan, the crazy old man, gets thrown out of the [2]nd gate, the Ocean Gate.  A short road leads directly to the Eastern Ocean, and coastline stretches for leagues to the north and south.  Food and drink will need to be prepared before being consumed, but shelter should be easy to find in any of the countless fishing villages and huts along the beach.  As Old Alan heads north along the beach, he occasionally looks up at the City wall; guards patrol it, which will undoubtedly make raids difficult.
Old Alan twirls his cane and keeps strolling.

Rukukin will head to the east, or wherever the sun is dipping to, in this world. Keep an eye out for small game, sources of water, or...Well, any kind of food or drink. Try and form the rags into a makeshift hat, to keep the sun off his eyes. Well, the shirt rag, that is. Not the...er...pant...legs.
