Well, we can take solace in the fact that Zynga is screwed anyways, and is probably going to die pretty soon.

At that point, maybe the Age of Terrible Facebook Games will end?

Nope, EA is still here with its bloody awful offense to the Tiberium name, among many other things. But it will certainly cease to be 'the thing'.

Zynga deserves it for all the money they make and all the things they get away with.

Not to say they are cheap douches that make thousands every day because of Crapville aka FarmVille

I don't like EA that much but I support them in this case.

Meh, crummy game design studios/copypasta factories are like hydras. You cut their head off and unless you apply fire two more appear.

Are you suggesting we firebomb Zynga's HQ?

I think that plan of action sounds like the best.

In this case fire means sucking all their money earning power out of them. Basically because the lawsuit failed to ruin them out in the open when they die other people will think they can just take Zynga's spot and thus yeah.

But then you're doing it backwards! Maxim 1 is Pillage, then burn!

It's true, very hard to pillage a burning building, best not to torch it till you're out of there.

I think ER missed a golden PR opportunity here. Few things make you look like less of a soulless monster as easily and self-servingly as trying to devour another soulless monster alive.

Bonus points if they'd made a crappy over-the-top FB game about the Erelei Republic's valiant struggle against the faceless Zigrat's doppleganger hordes.

The problem is that its always too short lived to really recoup any legal costs they probably would have need to accrue to do the whole eat Zynga alive bit. If I had to bet though on the reason EA did not sue Zynga into oblivion it is because Zynga is dead. Its not dying, its not gasping its last breath, the dang thing is dead and we are just seeing the last twitches of a cooling corpse. The tree has rotted all the way through and all we are seeing is bark falling off the dead core. Now don't get me wrong, Zynga won't be legally dead for a bit now. Its amazing what money can do to hold off death. I bet the first person to offer the people in control of Zynga some magic amount of money the thing will trade hands and someone will be holding a basket of rotten eggs and the Zynga people will be laughing all the way to the bank then getting hired onto some other game company because they did so well with Zynga and they can't help if the people they handed it off to where so incompetent.

So Zynga has morphed into Neo-Myspace now?
