What's the most badass titan you've faced?

Mine was a towering bull (hooves) with metal scales (iron or steel) and it could shoot webs. My Convict Suicide Squad was webbed and brainsmashed in seconds.

It was bronze, it was a clown, and it came from outer spire.

All 120 dwarves of my fortress, including my legendary militia of ten, were killed in about two minutes by a giant three-horned quadruped made of sandstone that shot webs. Half of them were killed in the first thirty seconds.

A giant quadruped composed of flames that could shoot webs.

Thank god I faced it in adventure mode, the webs alone wouldhave killed me. Even so, the resulting explosion of fire when it died melted half my body fat, several times.

40 conscripts, 100 military Dwarves of which 9 were legendary melee Dwarves and 3 were elite marksdwarves. The Dwarves looked to be winning until that thing showed up and absorbed all the bolts... It killed everyone.

The most interesting titan I've found was a giant tarantula made out of diamond. It also was surrounded by a cloud of facemelting dust.

I tried killing it used massed crossbow fire but after about 5,000 stuck-in iron bolts I simply gave up with that, and instead lured it into a sideroom and sealed up the entrance of the room with walls.

yes. an olm man one shotted it. no injuries on the olm man side.

and that was it's name. sounds like some sort of pet food.

Mine was a steel scorpion with fire breath. Those were dark times. Every hit was deflected, every dwarf was incinerated.

SLADE!? Dear lord, holy Armok, flying fudge pickles. I had no idea the procedural generator could use SLADE for forgotten beasts.

Why do we push forward, knowing this fate, that we are destined for failure? Because, this game grasps the concept of mortality. Some games you can never lose, but we all stop eventually, causing a 'death' to those game's 'worlds'. Dwarf Fortress gives us a definite end, knowing that we will leave that world eventually, and move on to more.
