You consider asking the obvious, but that can come later when you're sure of one or the other. You badly scrawl 'Name?' on Fortis. They reply by saying 'Tomrog'

Eh just take their offer.

Eventually, you're better, and you find Tomrog. He thanks you for the clothes, and explains that he had a choice between getting his house reverted from its marshmellow'd state caused by a rogue transmutation alchemist or buying replacement clothes instead, and he'd chosen the house. He gives you a piece of underwear and mentions that you don't owe the doctor anything. You clear off Fortis' screen, and find the town cartographer, who tells you that this is the town of Riin, far south of Pot, east of Reyk Figaro, and home to the world's (self-proclaimed) best non-wizard doctor.

He also mentions:
The Moist Barrel, a badly named tavern in the south part of town
Several shops
A Geomancer, in his underground tower near the town square
A meteor spotted crashing to the east.
Yonder Forest spotted within sight of the town a week ago

Wait. There's a meteor crashing to the ground, right now? This should be investigated, because stuff hitting other stuff is physics in action!

[Aklyon]

You dash (as fast as a not entirely fit physician wizard can dash after laying in a house for a couple weeks), towards the meteor's location mentioned to you. Instead, you find a penguin, and a note.

Help! I've been struck by a meteor and can't get out of this penguin form!

Fold note into a paper hat and place it on the penguin. Commence giggling.

[Aklyon]

You pick up the penguin and walk back to Riin, giggling the whole way.

[Furtuka]

Make penguin your sidekick until you find him a cure

Name him Sir Waddles the Third, Esquire. Just because.

[Aklyon]

You name him thus, and continue to wander through Riin for a lack of ideas on what to do.

After finding a lack of metamancers, you find the Geomancer, who is both asleep and not asleep. Asleep, because he's laying on the floor with his eyes closed and generally looks asleep.

Not asleep, because you tripped over several pebbles that moved in your way deliberately on the way down.

Try grabbing one of the pebbles.
