(Desired) Position: Court Fool

Full Name: Fust Touchstone

Bio: House Touchstone sided on the losing side of the War of the Hounds and was duly stripped of titles, honours and lands by the Iron Queen.  Most of the members of the House that were not killed off in the war soon died of disease or 'accident' thereafter, but the second son Dondol Touchstone survived and managed to secret away some small remnant of the family fortune.  Dondol lived away the rest of his days in comfortable obscurity in Altaregia, talking to all who would listen about the glory of the old court and its majesties and of how much he would one day like to see that court again.

Dondol grew old and fat and never did visit court, but he did have a son to a woman of low birth but good heart.  After his wife died when Fuste was young, the elderly Dondol spent what fortune remained to tutor his son in the upbringing proper for a courtier, fully intending for Fust to witness court himself some day as the aide of some minor noble.  Fust had other ideas and paid more attention to the gossip of the streets and to dancing with young maidens than much of his studies, though he wished greatly to follow in the footsteps his father never took and go to court.

Shortly before the abdication of the Iron Queen, Dondol Touchstone died without ever seeing Court once in his entire life.  Fust sold up what remained of his father's possessions and moved away to the capital of Stormstead.  He had heard that the position of Court Fool had remained empty for some time, given the Iron Queen's temperament, and when the coronation day came Fust wondered if perhaps the new King would find some amusement in having as a Fool the last scion of a House that had once troubled his ancestors so...

A 22 year-old Adran with an affected hunch and silly walk and a slightly awkward family resemblance to several of the old noble lines, Conricht included.  Fust has a carefully managed disrespect for the king's vassals and a dear interest in rumour and gossip.  He typically wears the bright red jester's outfit typical for his profession.

Traits

+1 to Acrobatics
Fust spent his youth dancing, cartwheeling and leaping around for his own amusement.  He can also juggle and perform various minor tricks to amuse his liege.

+1 to Rumourmongering
Fust spends a great deal of time listening to the word on the street and the court, aiming to get the gossip a step ahead of everyone else.

+1 to History
Fust spent years with tutors and his father's lectures learning the history of Windheath.  As far as obscure historial minutiae are concerned, he is as good a target as anyone else.

Player: Ardas
Position: Duc of Arborvent. (south-eastern coastal city)
Full Name: Edgard de Arborvent
Bio: 28, 5'11, blonde hair, blue eyes.

The Arborvents survived most of the turmoil and wars by staying to the side and picking their opponents carefully. As one of the families that sided with the north, despite being shunned and attacked by their neighbours, they came out on top and retained their lands after Conricht victory.
As the only son of the Arborvent line, Edgard is an epitome of what a noble is in the eyes of the lower classes: arrogant, cynical and quick to use both his tongue and his blade.
To his equals he is sarcastic, witty and indulges in all manner of in-fighting and plotting, with the occasional courtship and romances that he never takes seriously.
He is an opportunist in every meaning of the word, and no relationship or friendship ever stood in a way of more money or more favour with his superiors. He has little real combat or world experience however, and he is yet to find himself in real danger.

Traits:

Charisma/Wit: +1 to charisma
"How are you to find good company or a warm pair of legs if you can't say a damn word?"
Duelist: +1 to personal combat
"A sharp toungue without a sharp blade is a deadly combination. For the owner of the said tongue..."

Player: Shootandrun
Position: Duc of Altaregia - or Highcastle, as the lowborn call it. (The eastern city along the main river)
Full Name: Richard Conricht
Bio: Richard is Albert's younger brother by three years, a difficult position in a kingdom enforcing primogeniture. However, his parents raised him well, and turned him into a loyal and unambitious young man, who would not be able to threaten his older brother's rule. Although he was always the family member who remained in the shadow of those more important than him, he developed a certain charm - the Gods gave him a strong voice and a pleasing physique, which would help him later in his career of politics. While Albert received education in administration and court intrigue, Richard spent most of his time with the soldiers, learning the art of war as best he could.

He grew up to be a fine tactician and a charismatic man, and he quickly turned his attention to the military. Although he was granted lands when he had eighteen years, he decided to keep his focus on all things war. He developed a distinct like for hunting, riding, hawking and tourneys, and though he was not the best of knights - although he is somewhat tall, he is not nearly as strong as the finest knights in the realm - he generally ended in quarter finals or semi finals.

When his brother received the throne, he immediately went to the capital, to aid Albert in his rule, however he could.

Traits:
Huntsman: +1 archery.
"A deer with an arrow through the eye is a dead deer. The same logic goes for knights."

Outstanding tactician: +2 to tactics rolls
"I do not 'inspire' myself from the ideas of others - every general can copy his betters. I change them, and that's where the difference lies."

Player: Tiruin
Position: Marquis of the Northwatch
Full Name: Renart Lionel

Bio: Born an Adranic fully in blood and in belief, Renart has lived a long and ardous life. A Northener to the end, he remains loyal to the reigning family and to whomever carries the Dragonspine Scepter.

In truth, the War of the Hounds was more of a burden than a boon to him, for though he lived to see it's beginning and it's end, including the passing of leadership of the victors, the strain and stress of fighting a two-fold battle between the Southeners and the Haegar people debilitated his memory - making him forgetful in the short term of recent events.

Yet as a Noble and as a defender of the realm, his tactical skill and reputation among the people under his command has not wavered in the passing of the years, perhaps due to his aptitude and fervor on the field of battle, to the equal treatment given to freemen and slaves in turn.

Traits:
Aged Tactician - +2 Tactical bonus to Land combat rolls only.
"I have lived for more than a man should, and I shall not waste my time on pondering the meaning of my life any longer."
Guardian Retinue - A full infantry regiment hailing from the loyal men of the Northwatch. [Personal Guard]

Player: NUKE9.13

Position: Grand Reader (senior priest of the Adranic pantheon)

Full name: Servus Kninh (né Arond Arondson)

Bio: Many have tried to make sense of the old texts. Many have gone mad doing so. Those who are not reduced to gibbering lumps might gain some insight into the nature of the faith, and some authority amongst its practitioners.
Servus Kninh is one such person. Many a year he spent poring over the old texts, many a year he spent travelling to long-forgotten cities, digging through old libraries and tracking down the scraps of older books to trace the evolution of language. Many a year he spent in silent meditation in quiet monasteries. Finally, after decades of research, he claims to have produced an accurate translation of a passage which has been cause of much strife between the branches of the faith. He emerges from his monastery, eager to end the centuries of religious strife which have plagued the world.
Unfortunately, his conclusion runs somewhat contrary to the teachings of not just Eldanic and Altanic branches of the faith, but also those of the Adranic priesthood.
His fellow priests may respect him and his years of patient research- but preaching heresy will erode such respect with remarkable speed.

He goes forth upon the world now, seeking not musty tomes or quiet monastaries- but noblemen seeking a wise man for their council. Employing a Grand Reader is a mark of some status amongst the faithful- not to mention the practical value that their years of study may yield. And once in a nobleman's court, the seeds of a righteous crusade can be planted- a righteous crusade that could once and for all end centuries of pointless bloodshed.

Traits or resources: Wisdom of Daliochadun: A Grand Reader must read many tomes, from many places. In his studies, he gains much in the way of wisdom and knowledge, affording a bonus to intellectual pursuits.
Magic of Liodnya: Though Kninh does not style himself a priest of Liodnya, he still knows many of the rituals, curses, and medicines employed by the ice-god's mysterious followers. The rituals may please the faithful; the curses may scare them, and the medicines may heal them. To what degree it is an act, and to what degree it works, is debatable.
Charity of Bohromu: There is no law or ruling in Adranic scripture which forbids priests from worldly wealth. Nonetheless, most temples and monasteries require vows of poverty from their members. On occasion, the faithful may feel the need to practice the charity of Bohromu, passing their wealth to the priests- but the priests will promptly pass said wealth on to the poor and the sick. This renders Servus Kninh incapable of possessing money- though it may endear him to the common folk.

EDIT: Whereupon he was cast from the tower and reborn; he spoke with the GODS and tasked with spreading the TRUTH.
He took the name JITPAU ITAVANY; He Who Fell And Was Saved.

Now he styles himself a Prophet; a Messiah, even. He preaches the superiority of the Blessed People, that they are favoured by the Gods. His preachings have caught on amongst some, though the clergy still takes issue with some of the more controversial changes he is proposing to Orthodoxy.

He truly believes that he has spoken with the gods, and that he preaches truth.

Player: King of the Weasels
Position: Marquis of War's End
Full Name: Cyril "The Bastard" Rotwalden

Description: 29, Light Brown Hair, Grey eyes, fair skin, light beard.  His banner is a pair of weasels holding an oak branch.

Bio: Cyril was born from the one off affair of Leon Rotwalden, Marquis of War's End, and his wife Erika's Eldaric handmaiden, Acedia Vetsky.  When the affair was found out shortly after it happened, Acedia was banished and found shelter working in the kitchen's of the then Queen of Windheath, Kathryn Conricht.

Shortly after Cyril was born and at age 9 became a wine bearer in her court.  During his time serving the queen he learned much of politics and nobility.  When Cyril turned 14 he became a squire for one of the many knights of the court though he was unaware on how he was given such an opportunity, though it was short lived, as Leon's wife Erika had succumbed to illness, leaving no heirs.  The Marquis who had always been kind to young Cyril during his visits to the Capitol revealed himself as his father, claiming he would of done it earlier had it not been for his wife, and the shame and grief she would of caused him.  With his mother already laid to rest, Cyril joined the Marquis on his journey back to War's End.

During his 20th birthday Cyril, his father, and a small group of lesser nobility went hunting in the Iron Woods.  During the trip a terrible blizzard separated Cyril from the rest of the group, and he became lost in the dark forest. He was lost for what felt  for days, and very well could of been, until he came to a small fort in the middle of the fortress.  When the castle walls opened he could only take 2 steps before collapsing.  He awoke to a young woman, and was instantly smitten.  The woman's name was Claire Feemure and she was the daughter of the Baron of Le Gel Gardien De Fort, also called Fort Frostwarden.  He was returned home a few days later, but would return constantly as the months and years passed.  Eventually they would marry.

During the summer of his 24th year, Cyril's father, Leon Rotwalden, grew ill, and passed away.  Cyril was named Marquis of War's End. Two years later Cyril's son, Dimitri was born.

Traits:
Hawkeye: +1 to personal archery checks.
"Bullseye"
Hunting Party: +1 strength when leading armies with archers. +2 strength when leading armies with nothing but archers.
"We don't hunt our enemies like we hunt the elk, we have respect for the elk."

Player: Dwarmin
Position: King of Windheath (Or Atemheide in the less used Northern Dialect)
Full Name: Albert Conricht
Region: Kings Crossing, a District situated around the river, and the Capital City Stormstead (Or, Sturmstatt)
Bio: Albert is the oldest son and heir of the Conricht family-the rightful rulers by right of conquest, the victors in the War of the Hounds, a bloody conflict that set the displaced the previous rulers and gave rise to the 'Atemlund', the Northern peoples dominion over the land and it's resources.

His mother-the 'Iron Queen' Kathryn Conricht- ruled nearly unopposed since her husbands death shortly after the war, and her recent handing of the Dragonspine Scepter to her young son Albert was viewed as wise choice.

As a ruler, he's untested-young at 24, prone to be temperamental and impatient with his courtiers. But youth brings it's own advantage, and Albert seems to bring to the throne equal degrees of good sense, a strong moral center and a certain degree of naivety. Dedicated to bringing forth a golden age for Windheath, he's put out the call to farflung persons of import all over the Kingdom to help him in this task...

His personality is magnetic-suitable for a king-and while he's not been 'blooded', Albert is able fighter, having been extensively trained in the battle by his mother. He's shown a certain degree of skill in hunting and slaying inhuman threats-his personal guard double as professional Hunters, and he and his men have already gained reputation for killing more than a few Drakes and Trolls in their time.

Traits:
+1 to Charisma and Leadership
"Naturally, a King must be strong of arm...it helps if he's strong of word and deed, as well. I intend to keep the promises I make to the people"

+2 to Monster Hunting and Slaying
"One might ask why I risk my oh-so-valuable Noble blood hunting the cold blooded Drakes in the Crown Mountains-surely, there are 'lesser' men to meet these teeth and claws?

Maybe, but sometimes 'greater' men need to be reminded that duty does not stop at speeches. I've seen the aftermath of the ravages of these creatures, and I'm not going to stop until my people are free from this threat. A lesser task, to some, but not to me."

Player: Dragor
Position: Comte of the southern plains (south of the capital)
Full Name: Theor Blackshield or Schwerzshilt in the southern dialect
Bio:  Theor Blackshield is a descendant from the old noble houses of the south, which got nearly eradicated in the War of the Hounds. Once a great cade branch of the monarchs from the South, his family took great suffers. They lost their land in the war, they lost their gold and at last they lost their honour, because they swore fealty to the new king. Only because of this betrayal, his house survived. But at what cost? Once great ducs on the coast, now he only inherit the lowly title of a Comte from his dead father.

Growing up as a minority in the nobility of Windheath and the poorness of his house, Theor is a little bit bitter in his heart and is often sarcastic when he's annoyed or angered. But he has the ambition to rise his house out of the ashes and let rise it like a phoenix. Diligent and never giving up, he hungers after prestige and wealth.

He's an 21 years old man, with a three-days stuble and long, black hair. He is from average height and weight. He would be a pleasant look, but his bitter face and grimmy look in his ice blue eyes are not really turning on.

    Traits :
The grim shield : +2 strength while defending
"Maybe we will die here. But we will hold the formation. And when we need to block it with our corpses."
Skilled duelist : +1 to personal combat rolls
"In a fight man against man you know you're alive...Unless you're stupid enough to die."

After the age of 11, his mother revealed her profession before moving to Windheath; an assassin for the ruler of the Ralkarians. For the next 8 years, he was taught in the ways of an assassin; using climbable buildings to outrun heavier guards or warriors, archery (With a crossbow), and swordmanship (with a Rapier) after her death from an ever violent father, he left, with simple light armour, a Rapier, and a crossbow. His mission, to swear loyalty to the King, to end any threat to him or his bloodline, and to eventually become a master of the shadows, ensuring loyalty.
Traits or resources: 1+ to Agility (all rolls concerning agility) 1+ Archery (for all rolls concerning bows/crossbows) and +1 Swordsmanship (rolls concerning using swords)
In the way of resources, simply what my mother gave me, before that night... Simple leather armour with a cloak and hood, to conceal one's identity, a Rapier, not of any special make, and a Crossbow, with some bolts, for an assassin's work from afar. 15 Crowns

Position: 'Comte' of Osport
Full name: Osir Revechig III
Bio: Little Osir was raised in his 'ancestral' home of Osport, first established by his grandfather as a rest stop for raiders and later as a fortress from where he would store all his treasures. It was situated in the marshlands that separated the Haegar and Adranic, to hide its location. Osir was raised for years in the art of splitting a man in two and captaining ships, subjects that were the ancestral specialties. For much of his childhood, he imagined to follow in the steps of his father and grandfather, fortifying the town for the good of all Haegar and killing the cowards of the south. But then the Iron Queen came and burnt all his father's ships, killed his father's men, tore down the fortifications, and slaughtered little Osir's family. He was twelve at the time. Strangely enough, the Iron Queen allowed him to live...even leaving Osport to him. Of course, in return, Osir was expected to receive a 'proper education'. He knew he was a hostage however. Never less, he knew resisting was not the smartest thing to do and so he learned the ways of these Adranics, eating their food and worshiping their gods. By the time he reached his majority, he seemed little like a barbarian heathen haegar, and a well-mannered Adranic. Osir guess he did change...but he still yearned for his hearth and for the smell of the seas. Even so, the Iron Queen kept him near, never allowing him too far from the blasted capital, nor even ruling his home from afar. And so, when she finally abdicated, Osir was still in the capital at the age of 31.
Traits or resources:
'Nobility' -1d
Haegar (+1 to diplomacy/charisma rolls with Haegar) -1d
Admiral (+1 to tactics during sea combat) -1d
