Yea, if you can afford to just leave teamspeak running in the background. I should be on tomorrow at 7:00PM CST but I'm usually on there a lot of the day.

A friend convinced me I need this game.  Videos and her commentary really make it look good.  Now I need to find $20...

Girlinhat, how do you ever find enough time and money to spend on so many games all at once?

Unemployment, mostly.  Free games and spare time.  Hence the "need to find $20" comment above.

I just bought the game a few hours ago, got the mid-range option. Also got 3 48-hour guest serials if you want one girlinhat

Should be getting a PM with the info

EDIT: You getting the PM? It says I sent it, but shows nothing under the Sent Items area.

That's... odd. Should've been just the one. Maybe because I had NoScript on when sending the message borking things up?

You need to check the box saving it to your outgoing PMs for it to be saved.

sadly for some of us, no matter if we check the box or not, sent messages are not saved.

So, my last 5 tries all ended within 20 minutes, all being killed by bandits. Pretty much everyone is a bandit, and if you don't get a gun early, you're screwed. Hope we get some very HIGHLY moderated servers when this game goes live.

More likely, when the game goes live you'll see player justice more than anything.  Maybe a little spawn protection like "you get a draw distance penalty if you're trying to look at someone less than an hour old" but after that it's your survival skills and the way of the mob.  I can easily imagine guilds being formed informally to deal with bandits and keep a marginal amount of noob protection.  Of course from what I understand, no force in the world can protect a man with a flashlight.

bandits who are on the up & up aren't too big of a concern. It's the guys using invisibility hacks and equipment hacks. This is what has ruined the game for me for now.
