"Hey steve." You speak into the air.
>Yes?
"Could you guys also make a hamburger out of this arm when they cut it off? I wanted to eat it just for the sake of tasting it."
>That is horrible and disgusting. It will no doubt set you apart and create fear in your team mates. So of course.

Turn 4 –The Shopping Spree (Part 3)

Granite 1, 251
It is mid - afternoon.

Mahtan Anarion’s POV

Continuing to explore, [3] you don’t find anything.

In Liwaalisa, “Strike Bud”, Forest Retreat
Alana Teucer’s POV

”You check left, I check right?”
”Why do I have to check the Adventurer’s Store? You are the adventurer!”
”Yeeeeah, but who designed my clothing with all its nifty pockets and straps as the added outer layer? It’s quite comfy and stylish, an-”
”Meh, Fine.”

“But don’t blame me if I forget to buy… your dagger!”

Spoiler: Items in SpellCraft (click to show/hide)

At Nishvukrig, “Trade Drifts”, Mountain Home
Fekod Sladeborn’s POV

Signing the contract, you ask the Liason about anything interesting going on in the fort.

[5] ”Well, there is the cavern… You might want to explore there. [3] “Though, it’s quite dangerous. You might not want to go there.”
”What about… we, um… take a short nap… and drink a little… and eat something?"
”Sure, why not."

Cero Undulai’s POV

You sign the contract, intent on following Fekod around.

[5] ”Well, there is the cavern… You might want to explore there. [3] “Though, it’s quite dangerous. You might not want to go there.”
”What about… we, um… take a short nap… and drink a little… and eat something?"
”Sure, why not."

At Jonicmon, “Basement Holy”, Capital
Gregory Gianovich’s POV

”So, we got a decent map, a good book for medical help and the world before us. Let’s eat!”
You both laugh.

After eating one loaf of bread and drinking one water, you feel much better.

You heft your spear eagerly.
”I say, judging by the map, I would head for Kimaidla first. That seems tame, at least for now.”
”I’d rather head towards… Ara… Araneo… Araneomu. There’s no fun in becoming an adventurer just to visit a human city. Also, I want to buy a bow, and they say the Elves are great bowyers, and after we are done there, we can visit the dwarves’ Mountainhomes and get some real steel equipment.
”Let’s just get some more supplies for now.”

[5] Finding a rope wasn’t too hard. Sketching a copy of the map, [1 vs. 3] you accidentally rip the sheet of paper you were using. Doing it again, [3 vs 3], you make a good copy of it. Then, you throw away your shopping list.

Stalith Ngirathil’s POV

[4] You find a carpentry shop somewhere to the east.

[2] After asking around for a bowyer’s shop, you determine that there is no bowyer’s shop in this particular city; however, they do import bows.

Refill my flask somewhere, meet up again with Stalith and head onwards to Araneomu. Stay on the lookout for trouble on the way.

EDIT: Changed my action and Shorten, because I keep forgetting it!  >:(

I'd verily ask for a shorten, my good sir! Two days, if feasible.

After buying from the shops, Alana met her sister in the clearing of the grove, sitting on nearby boulders.

"Alright, I won't guess. What did you bring me?"
"If I said clothes, would you be surprised?"
"Come on, silly. I know how to take care of these garments in any weather - you taught me."
"Alright, alright. You sure are excited to go on adventure."

Her sister pulls out a minute object wrapped in rope reed cloth and fiber rope. "Go ahead, open it."

The twine unravels quite easily under Alana's fingers, showing a Copper Dagger, with the insignia of the Liwaalisan people on the hilt as a white pine. The hilt itself is nothing out of the ordinary, but Alana can feel the value of the simple object radiate from her hands.

"Had to find something that would keep my memory with you, so I etched something into the tip of the hilt. Check it...later on." :>

Her sister produced a length of rope reed (quite a lot of it) rope from behind her. No wonder her hands were clasped behind her back. "A good adventurer always brings rope, don't you think? Though...I've exhausted every bit of coin you left me, none of our special armor, sadly..."

"Don't you worry a bit, sis. I'll be trekking the land and slaughtering goblins and dwarves like they were nothing! I'll bring home something that would prove my prowess!

"Two scrolls from the keeper and writing implements would be enough to save my journey in ink. I'll be constantly writing."

"So...four coins left. It doesn't look like we'll be getting anything else."
"You keep it, it's the least I could do when you've helped me this far."
"Hah, I'll be sure to see you off better than I would.

"And I guess...this means farewell."

Seconds pass, and the only thing felt is the cool breeze of the everglades in the land. Here, though, are two people who feel more than that: Curiosity, Doubt, Fear, Determination, Sadness, Joy...

And Love.

"I've...delayed long enough. But could you do me one favor?"
"Sure, anything."
"Accompany me to the border, please. I'd like to...settle a few things on my mind...in a better place than this."

Buy that rope...
[5] Finding a rope wasn’t too hard.
Ummmm...

"Two scrolls from the keeper and writing implements would be enough to save my journey in ink. I'll be constantly writing."
I guess I wasn't very clear:

Scrolls are used to create spells.

Also, why don't you spend a night in your tree? You are getting drowsy, you know.

No, I meant Why go out now? Why not wait until the next day, after you're fully rested?
Because that's what I would do.  :)

((So I edited the action [poorly] to return back home, because when you say Mid-afternoon, it doesn't sound like near night. Near Dusk sounds like it, substituting the word 'near' for something better.

Or Pre-twilight...Or Late-afternoon.  :P))

"You'd want to go leave...now?"

Alana spun around to face her sister after quite some time walking. She had a disappointed expression, and this time it felt genuine.

"Well...we've nothing to do an-"
"You mean you've nothing to do!"
"Woah, don't get mad here."
"Dusk is nearing, and we've a long way to go...home sounds like a better place.

"I mean, one more day couldn't hurt. You just graduated!"

"Good point. Heh, now that I think of it, I may be rushing too fast..."
"Good! That means I can tease you more and tell you more stories!"
"You'll never change, won't you."
"As long as you don't. We made a promise on that, remember?

"Now...hows about another tale of the boogeymen, hmm?"

Buy 2 Scrolls, A Full set of Writing Implements, A length of Rope and a Liwaalisan Dagger.

= $24-$20 = $4 > To be given to Alana's sister.

Proceed back home to rest for the night.

*sigh* The point is, if you go out about now... and walk 3 hours, it would be dusk. the "mid-afternoon" and stuff is only for estimates. It's what just about everyone notices at the start.

Of course, just because you graduated dosen't mean you can't go to the training areas...
