Any word on DRM, mister Slesvig? Just remember: there's no such thing as bad DRM as long as it stops people pirates from playing the game.
I definitely think that it should have a similar DRM to Spore. But change it up a little..make it so you can activate the game on only two computers, and if you attempt to add a third it will assume you gave your code to a pirate and completely IP ban you from the game all together.

So I'm curious, what would it take for me to get one of these demo codes and try out the tutorial? I'm pretty excited to see the game!

I can't wait for the spinoff CAULDRON OF LOOTSville.

I love paying money for sprites.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

AAA marketing is a bit more subtle.

That isnt good enough.

Obviously pirates can get beyond that, so you should ban all existing copies of the game in case a pirate is detected. Real customers will have no problems repurchasing the game.

Better ban them every other day, just in case there is a pirate playing the game undetected.

Spore had DRM?
I clearly remember running spore on a laptop that was never  connected to the internet.

Yeah, it did. Securom I think. It only would install a certain number of times, etc.
The company eventually quietly released a tool that unregistered a computer, freeing up the slot again. I think it sometimes worked!
I thought an internet connection was necessary to install the game?

Unless aliens installed artificial memories of me playing the game, it doesn't.
I VIVIDLY remember playing the game on a laptop with no internet what so ever.

Then I guess it locks the slot the first time the computer connects to the Internet after that. Took enough effort to remove after I uninstalled Spore...
It should be illegal to leave your memory-hogging backdoor software in place AFTER YOU UNINSTALL THE DARN GAME!

I would like some kind of unlockable extra content, im talking day one awsomness. Like 30 will get you the game, but if you pay 20 extra you can put a code that lets you use a blue shirt or something like that, i always loved wearing blue shirts.
