Had a remarkably stupid person talking in the Firefall zone chat. Can't remember exactly how he phrased things, but the conversation went like this.


Random New Person: What's the fastest way to get around
Helpful Person: LGV (basically a motorcycle)
Stupid person: LGVs suck. I can get around everywhere faster by walking or gliding
Stupid person: Except for some major roads
Me: It is a bit situational, but LGVs are often the fastest way to across the map.
Stupid person: Only if you're a Stupid Monkey who can't understand reality  (He really did use the phrase Stupid Monkey, capitalized like that)
Me: They're rarely the fastest for going mission to mission, but for pure travel they're the best way to get around the map
Stupid person: Like I said, if you're a **** Monkey who ignores reality.

He then decides to put me on his ignore list. I do the same for him, because I really don't want to hear this guy talk.

I mean...I get having differing opinions on things. And I get thinking that the LGVs aren't worth the cost. But...you can demonstrate how fast they are. They really ARE one of the fastest ways to get around. But apparently anyone who disagrees with his version of things is some sort of degenerate who doesn't understand reality? I...just don't get it.
