Considering all of the men here who have MLP avatars, you may think about making a note in your Personal Text or Signature to let others in on the secret of your femininity. After all, none of us should be bothered to check your profile to check which gender we're talking about. You're on the Internet, and unless you make it painfully obvious, everyone will automatically refer to you as a male. It's nothing personal, it's just how the world works when you communicate solely with words.

Also: If gender confusion is what you're worried about, wouldn't "it" be bad as "he"? Unless you have something against men, there's no reason being thought of as deformed or dehumanized to the point of no gender should be better than being thought to be a male.
