Ideally (oh ye gods, not ideally, but you know what I mean), he'd have a long line of SS troopers, each holding a captive victim, walking them towards Hitler. After each died, their caretaker (so to speak) would step aside and drag the corpse off to whatever the arbitrary disposal method is. If we were going for a more realistic model, you'd need to factor in an extra second or two for each SS dude to get out of the way with his body. Even with infinite ammo (and how would that work exactly?), the gun would still require frequent maintenance and part replacement. A simple stabbing weapon might be slower, but is more durable.

Add that to the number of people who wouldn't be killed outright and you're reaching problems. Once you consider the fact that he'll need to stop shooting periodically for the bodies to be cleared away and you've got a serious issue. It takes time to move hundreds of mangled corpses, time that the genocidal lunatic on-the-go doesn't have.
