I remember... my mom got hungry when we were driving in Canada once, and decided to stop at a Tim Hortons, not knowing what food it served. She bought everyone in the family a doughnut... and my dad was like, "What are you thinking?!"

Arguably we're better because maple syrup and Tim Hortons.
Maple syrup is just for crappy pancakes. You never put it on GOOD pancakes, although I don't imagine the association isn't fitting.
You monster. To blaspheme agains the holy Maple is ... dare I say it ...

I was heartily amused.

We can't let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided!

When democracy doesn't give the result you want, start a civil war?

Makes sense...

This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy

In a true Democracy, Donald Trump decides who rules! All hail Donald Trump!

The world is laughing at us.

...did he seriously just say that..?

As in, the same world where 80% of people would've voted for Obama?

Oh we are laughing. Laughing at the people who seriously thought that Romney would get voted or even be a decent president.

Or just laughing at Trump himself, as is par for the course.

(Get it? Because it's a golf reference and he has that giant fucking flag on a golf course out West. I'll just leave now...)

The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy.

Yeah, man. If we ignore the electoral college we'll see the real winner of the election.

Obama: 59,939,928 votes
Romney: 57,265,737 votes

oops

Hey, anything that provides impetus for getting rid of the electoral college is at least partially a good thing.

There was a report about Trump's comments during the news program that I was watching last night and the reporter was, indeed all but openly laughing at Donald Trump (and reminded viewers that Trump "has driven well past the last exit to relevance")

Other than Obama being reelected that was the highlight of my night.
