We were there because the noble lady (or her husband) wanted us to get rid of them. The paladin couldn't detect evil in them, so I was hoping for a peaceful, Paragon solution. Not this time :P

I don't know what the deal with the circlet was. I was there for delivering it, but not for finding out who it belonged to.

Just double checking for character creation: level 1, 28-point buy, and standard class starting gold, correct?

@Araph: We're at level 2 now, but otherwise yes.

What class are you thinking of being?

ALSO: There is a fairly good chance that I won't make Saturday's game. A relative is having a party, and I've been invited. All depends on when we leave.

I'm considering a rogue/wizard gish right now. It's either that or a cloistered cleric.

Actually, could I play as a scout? They're in the book Complete Adventurer.

Yeah, we could use more competent ranged damage dealers...

I suggest precise shot as your first feat, since the GM is using misses as striking allies, btw. :P

As in, every miss has a chance. It's a miracle Jax hasn't hit anyone on his team yet. I'll probably be late to Saturday's game. My Saturdays are getting more and more occupied the farther into the year on my schedule, so I like Sundays a lot.

Misses under 10, followed by another roll of under 10 hit allies. I find it adds a little more hilarity realism.

Two things: when is the game on Saturday? And can I use the Catfolk race from RoTW (yay for the starting level being 2)?

Well, my "fairly good chance" has turned into a "no way in hell I'll make it short of feigning illness". See you folks Sunday, I guess! I'll have to miss the debut of the catfolk scout :P

18:00 GMT Saturday and Sunday both. Not everyone makes both sessions, so don't worry if you can't.

That is as near to perfect as I thought possible. I'll be about an hour late on Sunday, but I can definitely make it on Saturday.

Scout is alright. I'd allow Catfolk so long as you don't make use of Catfolk Pounce feat from the same book. That can get pretty silly. Remember that it has LA +1, meaning that you'll be starting at level 1 in a class, though it will take you 2000 xp to attain level 2. You'll also only have one HD, so that means you'll be pretty frail comparatively for the first few levels.

Curses! There goes my Catfolk cheese. Thanks for allowing both Scout and Catfolk, though!

Also, two more questions: are we allowed to use the LA buyoff from Unearthed Arcana? And are we allowed traits and flaws? And one more conditional question: if we can use traits and flaws, how many of each?
