I thought the session wasn't for another 11½ hours?

We had a practice session to test the server and work on macros. We also engaged in some mock battles and roleplay with each other. It was fun, but it doesn't apply to the actual campaign.

Actually, yes! The moral of the story is that while you usually don't want to sunder enemy equipment, as it lessens your loot for the future, it can be useful in order to survive. The same goes for any fight: the most optimal result isn't always possible, so go with the most effective. It doesn't matter if you get more loot if half the party died to get it.

But if half the party died... That means more loot! Clearly, half the party dying is the optimal result!

Is there anything that I should check out from the books that is not mentioned on the d20srd.org?

@Anzki: All you need for the basic game is in the SRD. The books-there are dozens of them :P -will give you stuff, but none of it is essential to playing.

That said, most stuff not in the SRD or available online, you should really ask the DM to approve before you use it.

Goddamnit, it doesn't look like I'll be able to get the right version of Maptools in time. :( It is in around 3 hours, right?
By the time I got back from doing stuff yesterday, the library(where I have to download large files) was closed. Ack.

Sorry about this, guys. I was looking foward to playing as the goblin luchador, too... I thought I had .87.

Last time you tried that, you shouted "SNEAK ATTACK!" and missed anyway <_<

Only 'cause Barb is a just bad DM and doesn't follow the rules that state all Rogues get free attacks if they shout SNEAK ATTACK (1d6, Stacks with LOUDITUDE).

Server is up. Version b87, the latest non-broken one.

IP: 71.32.2.117
Port: 51234

EDIT: Yoink, the file isn't all too big. Are you sure you can't get it?

According to the site it's 17.89 megabytes, so it really wouldn't be a good idea on my cruddy, pre-paid, share computer internet. :-\
I tried to get it from the library earlier in the week, but it didn't work out, sadly.
...Maybe I could walk to McDonalds and download it to my smartphone? Somehow I think that would most likely end up not working and getting me mugged and my phone stolen, though. :P
