Scelly, you're part of the world-building team, right? What's the state of glass lenses in the world? Would it make any sense for a bard to have a monocle?

What would everyone think of a session this Sunday at 0:00 GMT? (GMT -8 would be 4 PM Saturday. GMT +8 would be 8 AM Sunday.)

I'm not quite sure what you mean by the combat tools, Scelly. There are macros that can adjust health and whatnot on a token, but most likely the players would want to track that on their sheets. (Tokens get lost much more easily.) When you want to roll an attack, you just type something like...

Code: [Select]
/roll 1d20+5
...and then the DM tells you whether it hits or not, at which point you type something like...

Code: [Select]
/roll 1d6+2
for damage.

@Sirus - I -believe- there are spyglasses and the like somewhere, not sure if they're in the books we're using or not, they may be from something like Stormwrack. It's up to the other DMs, though.

On the plus side, macros are pretty easy for players, so if you look on the site/wiki any players can figure that out. Is my sheet good?

0:00 is good for me.

By combat tools I mean the thing in the installation video where he hit the "Apply Damage" button, and then the monster got killed and got all the effects applied to it.

Glass shouldn't be a big deal, even in medieval times, you can have a monocle.

Uh, at 0:00 GMT on Sunday, I'd have two-three hours of work left. :/ I'm usually off Mondays and Tuesdays, if that helps any.

And Giant would be an extremely wise pick around level four or five, for the giants in this setting are numerous and expansionistic.

I usually just sift trough mtg cards art for a portrait.

So anything about maptools configuration we should know as players ? I'm trying to get hang of the program but it's pretty confusing with tools are DM only.

And i'm alright with Sunday 0:00 GMT game.

0:00 GMT is 9-10 AM for me, so that would work. Probably.

One thing I should mention is that I occasionally have to go AFK for a while, due to sharing a computer. :-\
Not sure if that will be a problem... I could always take narcolepsy as a flaw, I suppose.

I can make that time. Make sure you get PM's out to all our players, so those who miss this single thread post are not confused. :P

Also, here's my code for more fancy macros. You slot in RP at the top, name of spell/attack and target in the 2nd, then to-hit roll, followed by damage. It's really easy to copy these-just put in your name and your numbers, and copy paste into maptools chat.

Code: [Select]
<i>Kathryn pulls back her hood, and fires a burst of pale light from her soft green eyes...</i><br>
Kathryn casts <b>Disrupt Undead</b> at ???<br>
To Hit Roll: <b>[t:1d20+1]</b> Vs Touch AC (threaten on 21)<br>
Damage on hit: <b>[t:1d6]</b> Positive energy<br>

<i>A wave of hypnotic colors dances from Kathryns Hands...</i><br>
Kathryn casts <b>Daze</b> at ???<br>
Make Will Save <b>13</b>...
Or Enemy is Dazed (Can Take no Actions)
...for One Round!

This one also puts the exact roll in mouseover. And the second one-a spell with an effect and a save-actually saves *everyone* the trouble of digging that information up in the middle of battle.

0:00 GMT is 8PM for me, if I calculated correctly (never got too familiar with the AM/PM clock), -4 GMT if somebody wants to correct me.

I can do most Sunday evenings (-5 GMTish, I think), and my Saturdays are more often scheduled.

@Scelly9 - I think that must have been a macro. I've never heard of that feature.

@Everyone Else - Great that you can all make that time, but if Hanslanda cannot, then we can't do it then. Hans and Scelly, what are your available times?

Around 2:00 GMT I get off work, so if you all started about then, I may be a bit late, but I could be in the session.
