A gish is a character that uses arcane spells and attack actions. A fighter/wizard who makes true-strike-enhanced mounted lance charges with maximum power attack would be an example...

@Scriver: It's an in-game term for a Githyanki (Think of a Spellcasting centric race) who is also a Fighter.

Oh, I know what Githyanki are. Planescaping thought-katana wielding subjectivist zen-monk philosopher warrior mages HO!

I had no idea they were called that though.

The hell is a gish? And Araph, didn't you already have a character?

While the first question has already been answered, I'd like to add that they have a tendency to fail horribly if done wrong. Given how, in the past, my gish characters have always fallen into that category, I'm hoping this one may fall into a second category, which hopefully is 'succeed spectacularly'.

As for already having a character, I'm not getting rid of Vis. One stress-relieving habit I have is building DnD characters, so I tend to have a backlog of character sheets I want to use. Should Vis happen to die horribly at the hands of some monster, I'll be ready to keep playing next session.

Let's see...

Uh... (1) When are these games held? (@) Is there a story all planned out and set by the GMs? (#) Any space left for a nostalgia-filled GM? xD (%) Or maybe a volunteer host for half the length of the normal 4 hour session, only on weekendstm.

Yay! Skyrunner potentially DMing another game!  :D

And this is how I ended up just running a campaign.  :P

I can attest to the fact Skyrunners a decent GM/Hostess. She ran my last game superbly.

Then she moved to Sascatchmadoo. D:

I was thinking a couple hours at round 9 or 10 here in GMT+9 Saturday.
That would be Friday night for most of you Americans and Europeans. Perhaps two to three hours.

I'm fine with either GM or host. :3

I would be interested. The hard part would be if you start at 9. The hard part would be choosing between the contemplative half-orc warrior-cleric and the bear-mounted, javelin-slinging halfling druid I have had tumbling around in my head for the last weeks.

I could, maybe.

Depends if the other game i'm going to join works.

As a bonus, it is FAR easier to generate a character for 3.5 D&D than it is for Eberron, considering I don't have a proper version of Excel, so it would be easier, even if I choose some sort of magic class.

Uhh, do you tolerate moderate-to-heinous evil long-term plans?

@WolfTengu: You'll be dancing the line between meta there, friend. :P

Just don't confuse evil plans with trolling/cheating the party.

Pro-Tip: the Paladin will not refrain from treating you like a child if he catches you exacting justified revenge on racist shopkeepers behaving like one.

In hindsight, treating a halfling like a child is totally racist, Tar :P
