Mordgard proud of himself
Mordgard found new way to shave
Mordgard found new way to put down fire
Said new ways are related to exhausting the hitpoints of beard

I blame it on goblins.

Lon was actually useful today! Slew two gobbos with his rapier, and inspired the party with a song for the boss battle.

And yes, Mordgard managed to put out a fire by stabbing himself in the chin. Hey, whatever works.

I knocked out a goblin. Everything else I did missed.

What happened, Realmfighter?

Forgot we were doing this so I had a nap, downloaded .86 after getting the error and when I didn't even see my token I just decided to not blow off my mom again and go out :P

I was out of spells and completely useless anyway.

Ah... To bad. I was just two seconds from finishing me asking you if you needed to repoggify the portrait - we all had to do it again because of the version switch. In my mind, Sam ended up going back to the entrance/animals together with Will and an unconscious Tuggery while the others cleaned out the rest of the place.

Also, Dwarmin, I read the tumble texts less glancingly and you were right about the tumbling things. The example below what I was reading covered it ;)

Hang on, do I level up as well, despite only being in for one session?

Unless the DM has stated that everyone will simply level up at the same time, you need 1000 experience to attain level 2.

Yeah, I think we are going with everyone levels up at the same time. Otherwise, encounters could get a bit lopsided.

Yeah, there were some occasional wierd moments in Shoruke's campaign dealing with that. But it wasn't too much of a problem.

Maybe odd question for the GM's here.

Are allowed to buy magic items for different 'slots', but the same cost and everything?

Ex.

Kathryn wants needs a Cloak of Charisma and a Cloak of Resistance. Boosting your main stats and your saves, Pretty standard stuff for every adventurer, there.

Since wearing two cloaks is impossible, could she get a Ring of Charisma or Resistance? Or a Helmet? etc, etc?

Another question, can we get the server up for a while (say, tomorrow) so we can update our pogs? If some of us can get it done before game time, we'll be able to get started sooner.

Generally speaking, there are affinities for enchantments associated with each item slot. You can find those at the bottom of this page. Items that make sense would cost about the same, whereas getting a Belt of Intelligence would cost a little more. (Generally such a thing would come from a circlet or similar.)

A Cloak of Charisma could just as easily be a headband, helmet, hat, robe, or something else reasonable that you come up with. A ring is usually reserved for more specific effects than an ability boost, but it could be done.

A Cloak of Resistance could just as easily be an amulet, medallion, robe, bracer, or other such thing. A Ring of Resistance would be more likely than one of Charisma.

@Ninja Sirus - I can put up a server, but I'll be busy most of the day with work.
