Doing All, then sorting by value usually puts mine at the front of the list.  I once had a stack of Dwarven Syrup roasts that were valued over 10k.
I bet the syrup roasts weren't of masterwork.

When I search under 'roast' nothing comes up.  'Prep' works, though.  Odd.

You stored ALL the roasts in barrels.

Prepared meals are kind of exploity. Sorted by value, the third item on my list, after an artifact bow and artifact diorite amulet, is this:

This is a stack of 62 masterfully prepared quarry bush leaves roast prepared by Dodók Nomalìtdùn. The ingredients are masterfully minced quarry bush leaves, superiorly minced quarry bush leaves, exceptionally minced quarry bush leaves and superiorly minced quarry bush leaves.

Total value to the dwarf caravan: 22940

That's one expensive salad.

Seriously though, am I the only one who doesn't use roasts as trading items? I can usually get what I want from caravans with all the clothing that rots off my dwarves.

It's not very exploity if you always offer 300% profit, and buy out all the metal items including those *«+steel bolts+»* and *«+giant silver axe blade+»* and melt them down. It's not very easy to make 100k db's meals to buy 20k db's junks every year.

Nope, you're not alone: I just trade away a lot of goblinite and tattered old dwarf clothes to caravans. If I'm feeling particularly generous the caravans might get some golden salve too.
