i really have no idea what just happened in my game
i mostly play adventure mode, heres a bit of backstory of the adventurer who turned into the beast:
i made a human swordsman, decided to collect a group of i think 5 or so warriors and ask for a quest from the village i started in, to attack a bandit camp, , the fight was going poorly, i had no injurys though i had lost some most of my companions, there were about 2 or 3 bandits left, and then i was shot by a crossbow and quickly ended up injured and lost both my sword and shield, my back up dagger and temporarily the abilities to walk or hold anything, so i crawled away, i somehow managed to escape and fast traveled north with my last remaining companion, i decided it would be impossible to make it so i went to an evil tundra so i could at least see some evil beasts and maybe die to something other then a common bandit , and then i came across a cloud of fiendesh ash and thinking when it turned me undead it would be a game over i let it take me, but no i was still in control of my now undead charecter, so i went back to the camp, fighting a few people with the bolts i had stuck in me as my only weapon, i got back to the camp, picked up my lost stuff and easyly killed them, my undead companion decided to stay at the camp and i left to be as much of a hero as i can while avoiding towns
eventually my kill list was in the hundreds and i decided i would swim to an island, i made it there found nothing of interest and left stopping at a smaller island to sleep till day time,i awoke to early and it was still dark so i went to sleep another 2 hours, but this time i dident awake as a husk swordmaster, i was in the caverns, my body was changed into an 8 legged hadrosaurid made of steam, i had no kills listed and my name was gone, i was simply called "peasant" none of the few monsters i saw were hostile, i had no injures except for apparently loss of sight so i could only see what was within 3 or so tiles of me and i could fly, i checked the announcements ,there was no messages saying i was cursed or anything, it acted like i had simply found the caverns
sadly i tryed making copys but i messed something up and lost my saves were im the beast as it would not let me load them, though i do have copys of the same adventurer the day before the event happened so i may be able to recreate it
so what the heck happened? did something i do anger a deity so they cursed me to become a forgoten beast? did my charecter somehow have a dream?
im completely confused here, has this happened to anyone else? anyone have any idea what the heck just happened to me?
and would anyone like me to share the save i have of the in-game day before i turned?
